they laughed in my face after wasting my time twice. The first time was when I showed up during their posted business hours only to find a note that they arbitrarily decided to leave half way through the day.The second trip I they were actually open and I asked to buy two coins listed on their website. They laughed in my face and sarcastically said they wish they had them too. They thought it was a joke on their customers that they hadn't updated the website in several years. They showed a complete lack of basic respect.I don't know how they stay in business - must have a lot of cash. Maybe they should have a CRA audit.

I've been buying gold and silver bullion here for quite a few years now. They have competitive pricing and are always helpful. Never had a problem before, so I'm not too sure why there's so many negative reviews.

Not friendless were morn interested in the poem affairs than helping me find what I wanted. But sent me to another store. Provencial stamps and coins. They on the other hand were fantastic. Found exactly what I needed. Thanks

Not the best experience at all. The lady that greater me was very friendly but when the man came to look at my coins he glanced at them and brushed me off saying none of my coins were worth anything and walked away. I only rated this with one star because the lady was nice.

Sold some jewelery there, compared to Winnipeg Gold Buyers, KMG and Martys diamond exchange they gave me quite substantial difference in their offer (around $75 dollars more). Also answered my questions professionally, will sell there again.

The lady here is very condescending and rude. Horrible customer service. I simply wanted to return a few unused coin plastic sheets that I bought a few days prior. She was completely unwilling despite the fact that I also said I was also willing to buy several hundred dollars of silver! What a stupid way to run a business. Unfortunately this store is closer for me than a different store on Corydon...where I was treated much better! Lost my business forever and I strongly suggest yours too.

Not entirely bad store, but be warned if you are going with the intention of buying gold or silver bullion coins, you are paying a middle man. The owner Sheldon, goes to gatewest coins on Corydon avenue, and then sells them to you at a markup. For bullion coins, you should avoid Collectibles Canada go straight to Gatewest. Check gatewest website for prices and you will see for yourself. Hope this saves some people some money...

Awful place to deal with!!!!!!!! Be fore warned that they will quote you one price to get you down to their store and then jack up the price. Even though it was advertised and you called to confirm pricing they will still pull this BS!!! Do yourself a favour stay out of the North End and just go to Gatewest where they do business honourably!

After reading all of the negative reviews, I felt that I should write of my own experiences at Collectibles Canada. The way I have always dealt with them is to call them ahead of time and have them quote me a price on the phone for whatever I am interested in. We sometimes haggle a bit but not often as I am usually satisfied with the price quoted. I then give them my name and advise them that I will be in the store within a few hours. They have ALWAYS honoured the price quoted to me on the phone without question or hesitation. Sheldon, and a woman I believe is his wife, have always been nothing but very professional and courteous toward me.
