The Nail Spot’s atmosphere is beautiful and I cannot express how much care they put into client care. 10/10 across the board, everyone on this team is so kind and caring. It’s also a great spot if you want to pop in to get your waxing done at the same time. Their online booking system is so easy to control and they are quick to respond when questions arise. Shout out to Ella and Laurie for making my last visit extra special and to everyone who works here. You guys are so great! Thank you.

My shellac nails started to peel after two days… probably because they weren’t dehydrated enough… and my cuticles weren’t prepped properly… cute place (the atmosphere) but the quality of service was way below par… definitely won’t be returning and do not recommend.

Suzana applied apres gel x extensions for me and did a great job! She made me feel like any request was not much trouble and that my time there was all about pampering me! They lasted almost 3 weeks with no breakage or lifting, which is a huge thing for me as I always have lifting with regular gels before 3 weeks. Definitely will go again for this service as not many places offer this!

I got a x-gel set with a chrome finish on top, it came out to just under $100 (before tip). I expected it to last, 7/10 nails started lifting after 7 days. I had to go get them redone at a different salon as hair kept catching under them…. Expected $100 nails to last longer than a week. The nails themselves look good, expect for one which has many bumps on it. She tried to file them away multiple times but the only solution she said was to redo the entire nail (which I did not do and the manicure was already taking 2 hours). It took an additional 15 - 20 minutes of filing for the nail to end up looking the same when she tried to fix it.Nails look good (minus the one) but I won’t be going back due to price and the fact they don’t last for then a week.

Nail spot did my wedding nails and my bridesmaids and they did not disappoint!Would highly recommend if you’re in the area. We drove in from Squamish and would go back again!

2.5 hours for nails. My regular place usually has me out within an hour for simple nails. I told her as she was setting the gel that I prefer my nails short - she said ‘I will shorten them by filing’ after an hour of filing I left with long nails as I could not sit through it anymore. Two of my nails have lifted 5 days later. Some of my nails are lumpy and I have a separation in one where the gel meets my nail. I don’t think the gel was thick enough as I saw the white line before I left- I just assumed the nail polish needed any other layer. Will not be returning.

My sister and I came in for the first time this week, and it won't be the last! Our nail techs were super friendly, knowledgeable, and very talented. We felt so comfortable in their hands and will definitely be coming back for more detailed nail art. They did such a great job on our apres gel mani's. There aren't very many places offering this service yet, so I'm glad I found them. I think this is the place to go to if you're looking for a great experience & you can trust they're going to do exactly what you ask for! Nail art is becoming such a big thing, and it's hard to find good artists as not every nail salon is going to have this much talent ;)Update: Unfortunately, this was might have been too good to be true as my sister's nails have started falling off. We got our mani on a Tuesday. 1 nail completely popped off on the Saturday, and she noticed 4 more lifting that same day. By the following Friday, she only had 4 nails still attached. For $100, you would hope your nails would at least last 2 weeks. This was definitely not worth it. She sent 2 emails that went unanswered and called to see what could be done and 4 days after initially reaching out she received a call back from the manager who offered to have her come in and have the missing ones redone. My sister declined that due to her schedule and because it had already been 1.5 weeks. She was instead offered a $30 credit is nice but that doesn't even cover half of the service. It has been 1.5 weeks and I have not had any issues with my nails. We don't know if it was because of improper application or if maybe they're just not meant for my sisters nails but my sister won't be back to find out which is unfortunate because we had such a good initial experience.

I visited the salon for Mani-Pedi and equally pleased by great quality of service and beautiful space. All the tools were sterilized and came out of a package as oppose to a lot of places in WestVan that they just rinse or alcohol spray the tools.I had “Shiva” as my nail artist and she was truly talented. Great works and super happy. I wish the owners consider adding a cup of coffee or tea to the guests as a value added treat. Totally recommend this place.
