Not real Sulphur hot spring. There is sulphur spring in disable car park which smells like sulphur. Unfortunately that is cold not hot at all.More like heated swimming pool and nothing real.Don't waste your money. You can see the swimming pool from outside from the terrace

We visited on a Monday afternoon - not crowded at all. This place is beautiful with amazing mountain views. They cover all the details for a very fair price. The spa pool was spacious with different depths. Love the little low water/ kiddo section. The bathing suit spinner was great. Unfortunately, in winter, it's not actually hot springs. It's chlorinated and heated during the cold season. Either way we would have gone.

It was just ok. I've been to much better hit springs elsewhere. Sure it was nice to dip in, the place was clean and well maintained. But it was small, crowded, and underwhelming in general.Parking can be a little difficult during peak times so better to come early in the morning. Buy tickets in advance if possible. It's also weather dependent, if there's any lightning then they have to empty the pool for at least 30 minutes. There's locker rooms and they'll give you tokens that can be used for the locker, just read the instructions carefully as it can be tricky to use and you might waste your token.

Good hot spring. Nice little place with friendly staff and clean place. You can rent a towel and swimsuit if you forgot or wasn’t planning on going to the hot springs. Also locker comes with the entrance ticket which is big enough for one person to put all their belongings in. There is quite a lot of people so it won’t be private but still nice place to visit. Water is very hot so I would recommend trying this when it is colder or come after a hike to relax.

Honestly very disappointed in this place, it felt more like a recreation rundown public pool. They could easily remodel this place to make it seem more like a natural hot springs or add stone/rock decorations to feel more secluded,. It felt like a warm pool, the view wasn’t even that great the windows were so cloudy you can’t see past them. I would not go back or recommended anyone going especially for $16 a person.

Banff Upper Hot Springs is super unique! Overall, I had a great experience. The water was hot and the service was great. It offers a fantastic view of the city of Banff. My only complaint would be the cleanliness of the changing rooms. The floors are not too sanitary as everyone is walking barefoot on the ground, and puddles of water are everywhere, creating a hazard. I would recommend this place to my friends and family.

Don’t waste your time trekking up there. It’s basically a glorified public hot tub. There was only one big pool and it was super crowded on a recent July weekend. The bus to get up there was so crowded we had to wait an hour just to catch the bus. And we stood up the whole time on the bus there and back. All that hassle just to sit in a lame hot tub that didn’t feel like a natural hot springs at all. The view was pretty but you can get a better version of that same view from the Banff gondola. The water was at least hot temperature wise … but I’ve been to natural hot springs in Colorado and Washington state USA that were way better and felt more natural.

Why wouldn’t anyone not want to visit this awesome place? Such a pleasant hot spring to enjoy with family and friends. Kids gonna love this place. One word of caution though: you are provided with coins to access the locker. It’s a one time use coin. Once you put the coin and take the locker key and you open it back, you won’t get the coin back to use the locker again. You will have to go to the reception to request another coin.

It was a nice experience and enjoyed very much. Since it was in winter time so hot water was enjoyable and when it’s snowing the scenic beauty will be awesome. Don’t carry any valuables items though they have locker but still for safer side don’t carry valuables items. No time limit and sometimes it’s get crowded. Two lifeguard/security is always monitoring for the safety of everyone. The pool is small not big enough.
