manager glen is rude calls and intimidates us the truck they rented us was unsound the breaks did not work and caused a accident that they refuse to be even semi responsible for. I have pain every day now because of it and all they care about is me paying for there deathtrap. I will walk before I would get in another car those crooks rent. And the emotional abuse they are inflicting has caused me to lose sleep not eat ect.

Excellent service, this is the only place I rent vehicles. The trucks are always in good working order. I have never had a bad experience the numerous times I've rented. Very flexible, and fair on billing. I called in to extend my rental with no issue at all. Highly recommended.

They were supposed to meet me at the repair shop and did not. After multiple phone calls from the repair shop to discount, someone from the repair shop had to drive me to discount. When I got there, the car wasn't ready and I had to wait for them to quickly clean it". Which in a global pandemic doesn't make me feel very confident that they did a full sanitation of the vehicle. Abhorrent service and business practices. We reserved a vehicle online for three days. When we arrived to pick up the vehicle at the designated time, there was no vehicle ready and no vehicle available. There was another family waiting in the same situation. We ended up rushing to Enterprise in New Minas and paying more for a rental at the last minute because of Discount's inability to honor their contract. A BBB complaint went unanswered by Discount. Will never give my business to Discount again.

horrible service ... if website says there is a truck available and you book it .. then get a call in the morning saying its not available ..what an inconvenience , i was also speaking to the manager and not once was anything offered for this inconvenience . i will now steer anyone to another company for better ,reliable services

Cube van rental 15/12/16 - Excellent service from the guys in the office. Very polite and helpful. Van was ready to go and minimal paperwork. Only pay for the fuel you use and a reasonable price for a 24 hour rental period.

I called discount and ended up with someone from Toronto who wanted to book a Ford fiesto for a real reasonable rate and when I got to coldbrook they didn't have the economy vehicle as per mentioned in their stock..they had a mini van for almost 3 times the cost...when I went to look at the vehicle it was dirty ...poorly vacuumed...and not clean and then before taking it she disinfected last minute ...the tire pressure was at 36 and was supposed to be 51..low a leter of oil...low 2 and a half leters of coolent ...the windshield washer fluid was down and should have been topped up....power Sterling fluid was down to a minimal level...they did not fix any of these issues before i left..the dust on the dash u could write in....they were not prepared for any issues with a vehicle at the facility ...all and all this was not a good professional representation of how the car rental industry should be..
