Board with Friends Cafe

Honestly cute smaller store with more fun events that you can do with your work we did a murder mystery and it was great to do it and everyone had a blast. IPads for ordering made it very easy to get things at a faster rate without having to take focus off what you are doing.

The best staff interaction I've had in years. I use to only go to the Board Game Cafe on Yates, but since trying Board With Friends, I am fully converted. Great atmosphere and you get a TABLET TO ORDER FOOD ON!!!

This is everything you could want in a board game cafe and more! When you come for a night of boardgames you feel welcomed like family, and Alyssa and Nick (the dreamteam who run the shop) are the kindest folks out there, and are a wealth of knowledge surrounding the product and how to play.A visit here isnt just a playthrough - Nick comes around periodically to check in and make sure things are going smoothly and clarifies any questions and provides a summary of the game rules if you are new to a game.

Atmosphere is great. I play DnD weekly with friends, but the Cafe has several board games to pick from. They have a room that can be reserved. The owners Nick and Alyssa are always a delight, which positively contributes to the experience. They are always available to answer questions you have about any of the game. Definitely would recommend to play games with friends.

Fun atmosphere, good music, great spot to hang-out with friends and play some table-top games.The digital menu and ordering system made it easy to keep ordering drinks and snacks without having to leave the table or flag down an employee. Maybe a little too easy! Lol! I kept going back for more!

My partner and I tried three other board game cafes and this is the only one we visited a second time. The food is decently priced and they have dairy alternative and vegan options.The best part of visiting this place is that the staff who worked here were all very well versed in the games they sold and had to play and they also sat down with you to make sure you fully understood what you were playing and made sure you were sure about what you were purchasing nefore you bought it.My family and I enjoy very competitive and easy board games and the staff did not judge us whenwe requested very easy but fun games" they simply walked us through in a respectable pace of how to play and promptly answered all of our questions.If we ever visit the island again this will definitely be the place we go for a game and quick bite to eat! Im definitely recomending this place to all of our family and friends and wish there was one by our home town because we would travel 2 hours to play here for sure unfortunately this place is an 8 hour drive for us so maybe a once a year trip for us. Id made the 2 hour drive weekly though for sure if I had the option. 5/5 stars feom me and my family.Also queer friendly and we did not feeluncomfortable in the slightest which is always a plus as well these days."

Absolutely the best part of our Victoria trip. Such an amazing place. The best vibes. If you are thinking about going - go! So many board games. Delicious food and snacks (the milkshakes are amazing) and such incredible staff!

Excellent atmosphere and loads of games. Owners are real good people and are always willing to help learning a new game or answering any questions. Plus, their snacks are pretty good!

Great service, great ambiance and lots of boardgames to choose from, service is at the tables themselves through a tablet. Plenty of rooms and I'd say, ideal group size would be 4 to 8. Their ice cream sodas are delicious!
