James Foord won an important case for me over 10 years ago. I'd been wrongfully convicted of dangerous driving at which point we met for the first time to discuss an appeal. We lost in superior court but went on to win an acquittal at the Ontario Court of Appeals. This incidentally was his 7th straight victory where appellants normally enjoy a roughly 30% chance of winning.What was apparent from the outset was the genuine interest and the extraordinary amount of work he was putting into my case, much of it after hours. I was and remain ecstatic at the results he achieved which continue to be used as reference in similar trials to this day.James was also a caring and compassionate person throughout. I have to say James Foord saved our family’s life. He fought very hard for us and he was with us every step of the way. At times I had my doubts but that’s only because he will not lie to you or miss lead you in shape or form. What I learned about James was that he will under promises and over deliver, which is the completely opposite of most lawyers. In my opinion he is way too undervalued and is worth every dollar spent.
