Simply Gourmet - Personal Chef & Catering

We hired Simply Gourmet to provide food for my 60 birthday party. They had 3 different food allergies and two food restrictions to work with. They did a wonderful job of making delicious food while avoiding all problem foods. The food was delivered on time and exceptionally fresh. The reheating and other specific information was clear and easy to follow. The guests were all very pleased with the variety and quality of the food. The pear flat bread and salad rolls were two of our favourite appetizers. The quantity of food was also perfect for the number of guests. I would recommend this caterer to others.

Chef Aelie and Paige at Simply Gourmet have been making us delicious and nutritious family meals for the past two years. It is so nice to not have to grocery shop or meal plan! They are always friendly and professional. We have had Simply Gourmet cater two events and everyone raved about the food!

We had a wonderful evening with amazing food prepared by Chef Paige. Each course was delicious; prepared, plated, and served with time to allow us to enjoy and converse through the evening. Highly recommended - already planning our next “once in a lifetime” dinner party! To top it off, they also washed every dish used that evening!

Hands down, 5 out of 5!! I have never retained these types of services before and was a little unsure on how to gauge the good from the bad. I am happy to see all the positive reviews on this company were well deserved and then some!! I had a small dinner gathering and requested a traditional turkey dinner. All communications were prompt, the menu was fantastic, and service was provided as promised. All proper social distancing measures were followed when food was dropped off, and each item had preparation instructions clearly marked in a way that someone like me had no problems following them! My guests were all extremely complimentary of the food, and I will definitely be using them again.P.S - if you have an option to add bacon wrapped carrots to your meal, do so without hesitation!Big thanks to Aelie and Paige for making my holidays just that much better!Highly recommended company (and local too!)

We have had Simply Gourmet cater an annual party for work colleagues three years in a row. We continue to go back to their team as we are continuously impressed and our expectations are always met and far exceeded. Aelie is incredibly responsive and very helpful in organizing the event with everything it needs to be successful, including organizing the necessary rentals. All of the staff that we have met, including the servers and bartender are always so helpful, fun and play a huge part in making our party a success year after year! Over the three years we have had the opportunity to try many different food choices and everything that we have had has been extremely delicious and creative. We would recommend Simply Gourmet to anyone looking to cater an event as we are certain they will be thrilled with the service they will receive!

Simply Gourmet is simply the best. I brought a group of 16 people to Calgary for 5 days and her chefs were extraordinary. Her menus are incredibly delicious and she went out of her way to deliver an amazing experience. Her protein waffles are to die for and the biscuits and sausage gravy were spectacular. If I could give her 10 stars, I would!

We hosted two engagement parties at our house over the past two years. We went back to Simply Gourmet after the first year because it was such a success! Aelie, Paige and their team are super talented and incredibly helpful. Their menus are creative and delicious; we got so much positive feedback from our guests. The servers and bartender were really friendly and they went above and beyond to help us host and make guests feel welcome (and full!). Aelie is really responsive and caters menus that are so personal and appropriate to the event. She is also very reasonably priced and will work with you to stay within whatever budget you have. We really appreciate all your help and all the delicious food Simply Gourmet! We look forward to having you cater for us again in the future.

We had Simply Gourmet cater for a wedding party of 30 people . Happily, this was a very good experience from the very beginning to the final event. Aelie managed all the details of our event including the required rentals and created a menu that was interesting and took into account special requests. We had compliments from our guests. The staff were accommodating and professional and left the work area clean and tidy. Finally Aelie was wonderful to work with and very approachable every step of the way.
