We loved the ambiance and service on our visit with family. Staff was very friendly and attentive. When we received food they forgot an item and when we reminded them they rushed to get the item and apologized for the delay. We tried dal makhani, shahi paneer, garlic naan and roti. Everything was yummy, I am removing one star as paneer dish was slightly sweet. Overall great experience and must visit place!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Indian Swaad, a hidden gem located on Tecumseh Road in Windsor. From the moment I stepped inside, I was captivated by the excellent ambience that enveloped the restaurant. The warm lighting, tasteful decor, and comfortable seating created a cozy and inviting atmosphere that made me feel right at home. One unique aspect of Indian Swaad that caught my attention was the chef's talent as a painter. As I waited for my meal, I couldn't help but admire the beautiful paintings adorning the walls. It's not every day that you come across a restaurant where the chef's creativity extends beyond the kitchen, and it added an extra touch of artistry to the overall dining experience. Now, let's talk about the food, which truly stole the show. The Chicken Kabab was outstanding, cooked to perfection with a tantalizing blend of spices that left my taste buds dancing with delight. The Samosa Chat, a popular street food in India, was a burst of flavors, combining crispy samosas with tangy chutneys and aromatic spices. It was a true explosion of taste and texture. The Goat Curry was another highlight of the menu. The tender meat simmered in a rich and aromatic sauce, infused with traditional Indian spices, transported me to the streets of Delhi with every mouthful. Paired with the complimentary rice, it was a heavenly combination that left me longing for more. For those seeking a vegetarian delight, the Masala Dosa at Indian Swaad is a must-try. The thin, crispy dosa filled with a savory potato filling and served with coconut chutney and sambar was simply divine. The flavors were authentic, and the dosa was cooked to perfection, making it a delight for all the senses.I was equally impressed with the professional staff at Indian Swaad. They were attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. Their passion for Indian cuisine was evident in the way they presented each dish and provided recommendations based on individual preferences. The service was prompt, ensuring that my dining experience was seamless from start to finish. In conclusion, Indian Swaad is a restaurant that goes above and beyond to deliver an exceptional dining experience. From the excellent ambience and the chef's artistic flair to the mouthwatering Chicken Kabab, Samosa Chat, Goat Curry, and complimentary rice, not to mention the delectable Masala Dosa, this establishment offers a true taste of India. Combined with the professionalism of the staff, a visit to Indian Swaad is a culinary journey that you won't want to miss.

It is my one of worst experience to come here for dinner because of, first of all i had panner chilli in starter which was under cooked it felt like we are eating raw onion, green pepper, and paneer.Second was butter roti it was so hard like eating Nacho’s. Third was very poor service, we had to call them 5-6 times for additional items. Last but not least drinks, we ordered pop and was so dirty may be dark soya sauce was on it.Guys really you need to serve better.

Went there for the first time. Environment is nice, it was greek restaurant before. We tried 3 types of curries and all were good. I wouldn’t say It's beyond good. It is just like other indian restaurants just they have a good dinning experience. Well this restaurant is expensive though, we spent around 90+ for just 4 people. You get the same food in other indian restaurant around 70 bucks. Anyway there are plenty of room to improve the food quality.

Best North Indian food in Windsor and that's not just me saying.Their curries have that authentic North Indian taste. If you're ordering for the first time, do try their buttery paneer Tikka masala and garlic naan! That's their signature dish and garlic naan is something that they've mastered. Nothing beats their garlic naan. I repeat, nothing! We also liked their paneer tikka and Tandoori Soya Chaap in starters, Malai kofta and Dal Makhani in curries and chhash. I'm terms of non vegetarian options, we liked the chicken Malai tikka for starter as well as Chicken Tikka Masala. They serve food with quality ingredients and we've never had any health issues! And their quantity is good too, for the price they charge. The servers are knowledgeable and friendly. There was a mistake in our order but they gladly corrected it and apologized for our inconvenience.

Great North Indian foods. would say they are progressing. I was not a big fan of their old location and food. We ordered butter chicken, malai chicken gravy and nan. Meat was well cooked and the sause for both gravy were perfect. Nan is soft and perfect like how it has to be. Achari chicken was good I recommend that with dal makhani for rice. That gives you a different taste by blending a spicy starter with normal main course.Mutton dum biryani was okay. They still have to concerntrate more on their biriyani, pieces are hard and chewy.I ordered Janga Jamuna for my friend and me. That's my all time favourite. The server scrapped the corners of the icecream box and that was freezed water crystals. I received a fresh one that tasted better. It would be great if they can opt for different icecream brand. This restaurant is my recommendation for anyone who looks for North Indian food.
