We were thrilled with our partnership with Tyler + Sam @ Northern Comfort Heating + Cooling! It started with a simple inquiry on replacing our exiting mini-split unit and how we might bring further AC into our master bedroom. Sam's response time, customer focus, kindness + thoroughness from the very beginning to completion, has been amazing! Tyler came out for a consultation, which resulted in a few options and ultimately a selection to go with a new mini-split and additional cassette in the master bedroom. Tyler's installation was professional, clean and top-notch. We would recommend them for any of your HVAC needs - full confidence in this family owned, local business!

1st of all, they responded when we thought we were having a furnace issue in December. We have had NO luck w/service providers in this county responding to phone calls or texts. Not only did they respond, but came out & checked our furnace within a few hours. We decided to have a new furnace & chimney installed in the spring. We were called & an appt was set up. Tyler did a fantastic job for us, he answered every question & made this a great experience. We will definitely call him for any future furnace needs & highly recommend him. This is a very professional business & it's comforting to know there is actually a local business you can count on! They are a top notch business!!! I can't say enough good things about them!

Tyler was so professional and very knowledgeable! He was prompt in getting back to us when we inquired and had us fixed up, maintenance performed and good to go in no time. He informed us each time he was on his way and was always on time. Patty was also great in getting us scheduled and making sure we were well informed with billing and rebate information. My family moved to the Roseau area a year and a half ago. As rural homeowners, we're still trying to figure out the best repair services to use when something goes wrong or breaks. In October, we noted our floor heat was not working like it should. We called a couple of other companies and could only reach their voice mails. We left messages but never received a response. Our frustration grew over the next couple of months until we were referred to Northern Comfort by an acquaintance. Northern Comfort got back to us quickly and set up a service appointment for a week away.Northern Comfort was professional, showed up on time, and worked efficiently. We were very happy with the service that they provided. And with the chill that February has brought, we are grateful that we are able to rely on our floor heat!We will be using Northern Comfort for our future heating and cooling needs, and I would definitely recommend them to others!

I had Northern Comfort Heating and Cooling install a new furnace and A/C unit into my house. They were very prompt and kept to the schedule. We made arrangements and Tyler diagnosed the problem and got my price quote to me that same day. The needed part was ordered and they were back to install it a short time later. I was so impressed with Tyler and Sam and their business! They were responsive, knowledgeable, pleasant to work with and went above and beyond to respond to my gas fireplace poor performance in time for the arrival of my Thanksgiving holiday guests. Their customer service and communication was 2nd to none! Tyler and Sam make a great team! They stood by their service appointment commitment regardless of the other jobs that had stacked up that same day.....and Tyler fixed my gas fireplace when others before him could not....and he saved me from buying a whole new gas fireplace!! On a broader scale, I love that their business mission is to serve our underserved residential community vs. getting totally absorbed by the demands of the business and industrial large projects. I will DEFINITELY use Northern Comfort again and will gladly refer them whenever there is an opportunity!

Gold standard for quality and customer service! From my first phone call, Sam was outstanding in her response time. She kept me updated throughout the entire process of ordering my new equipment and scheduling. Tyler did an amazing job with the install and I was so impressed that he used drop cloths to protect my flooring. He took the time to educate me on how everything works and got my thermostat synced to my phone. I am beyond impressed with Sam and Tyler and they are the example of how a successful business should be run. They will have my business for life and I will absolutely refer them to all of my friends and family!!

We called Northern Comfort Heating and Cooling this summer to come in and assess our A/C unit to determine if we needed it to be replaced. Tyler came and LISTENED to what we thought was the problem and took time to check the unit and the thermostat; the latter of which had never been checked when we called other companies about the same problem, and was found to be the actual problem!
