Johnson's fruit market
The fruit from this local farm is extremely extremely pricey. We ended up paying $46 for a small container of grapes, a small container of apricots (about 7 pieces), and a small container of peaches (around 5 pieces). The farmer allowed us to sample some of the fruit, and the taste was delightful and ripe while we were in the store. However, upon trying the fruit we purchased later at home, it was completely different—unripe and lacking in flavor, similar to what you would find at a regular grocery store. This experience left us extremely disappointed.

Totally unfriendly staff, charged a different price between customers right in front of me. $20 for a small container of cherries. Half of them were bad but hidden at the bottom of the container. You would be better off getting from a grocery store, most produce wasn't 'local'.

Loved this market. So many wonderful home made jams, pickles, rubs, sauces. There is an exclusive array of freezer products. The fruits are fresh and the peaches are to die for! Would definitely take the trip out to Johson's. Recommend to anyone travelling on the No.1 going east, to stop and see for yourself.

I entered the market full of expectations, looking for fresh fruit, a gelato, and water for my bottles - I am biking and it is 29 Celsius out, after all. While ordering, I asked if I could be filled up. The answer was I have no time for this
