Terribly experience. I am all for supporting local, but this place...just...no. I took my parent's desktop hard drive in to assess why it had suddenly stopped working and for file recovery. After THREE WEEKS, during which I called every couple of days for an update - I was told I'd get an update the Monday after I dropped it off (which was a Saturday) and received no such call - I finally went in to take the hard drive away from them. I had lost all confidence that they were capable of doing anything. I was still charged $90 for 'the technician's time.' Which accomplished absolutely nothing. I've since taken the hard drive to Staples and will stand corrected if they tell me the same thing about the state of the hard drive, but I will stand by everything else. I shouldn't have had to chase them for info.

A hardware focussed store, like most VARs. Not good at workarounds or solving your problem, unless it fits into a simple category, say replacing your iPhone screen. If you have something tricky, they will “run diagnostics”, report something you already knew and immediately go to “You need to upgrade your device.” You’re far better off with Apple support, where you will learn something and get a solution. With these guys, the main (and likely the only) thing you’ll get is a hefty bill.

Charges $90 for diagnosis. They couldn’t find the issue, charged me diagnosis fee anyways. What exactly did they diagnose? Absolutely nothing, and my item is still unusable.When they said they couldn’t find the issue I asked them to do a hard reset to the device and all I received was attitude, a process that takes all of 1 minute.

very bad service at all, worst apple support service centre i visited in my life, first of all they didn't tell me about the cost of repairs, then called me to inform that cost will 129$ plus tax for just changing one camera lense glass, i do have apple care and i said i don't want service i will collect my phone then employee told me i have to pay 39$+ tax for no service.after that i contacted to apple care executive supervisor she told me there will be no charge for no service so she issued a ticket to solve my problem and called twice to store to look into the problem and there was no response from store to apple service supervisor, even store didn’t pickup call i did more then 5 times.Be advised don’t go for any service put some dollars gas and go another service centre for betterment.for manager case id:- 101647681852take sometime to look into this case and please pickup call of customer and most importantly apple service supervisor.

Brad was a lifesaver. We walked in today with cellular phone problems and he cheerfully and immediately solved them. He also replaced a much needed phone case and screen. We wish our hometown had a comparable shop.

My daughter wanted a good gaming laptop and didn't know what she needed, they suggested a $2700 one which is now a paperweight. Mac's don't have sufficient cooling even with an aftermarket fan pad and it throttled after five minutes of gameplay. We found her a great gaming PC and screen for around 1k, she borrowed my 2 year old $600 AMD gaming laptop until the PC came in which worked lovely in comparison.

Visiting Stratford from the UK and had a couple of small computer issues. They got solved really quickly at a very fair price and with friendly charm in the process. Really nice shop with a groovy exhibition of ancient Macs in the window.

Compudoc is a great goto for local support and purchase, wide selection of Apple product and the new Framework line of laptops, and those units are a DIY/iFixit dream!

Very attentive. My computer died and I desperately needed a new one. I called, and someone answered right away. They helped me select what I needed, called me to let me know it was ready--and then called me again to let me know they were stepping out for ten minutes, just in case I was coming by then. I was so impressed by their care and honest service.

I have been a loyal Compudoc client for 15 years. I have purchased numerous Apple computers from them directly and also use them for service on both Mac and regular computers. Totally trust them. Their pricing is very fair for the service expertise they provide. I would highly recommend them to anyone and glad we have an Apple authorized reseller/dealer in Stratford.
