My experience with Manco Design left much to be desired. I hired them to create plans for a deck renovation and rough out to install a patio door. I soon discovered that every single measurement on the plans was wrong, by almost 2’ in some cases. Even measurements for elements not being renovated, like an existing door, were incorrect. When I shared this with Manco, they wrote back saying “Dimensions for renovations are always +/- 6 inches.” I mentioned this to the city inspector who said they’ve never heard of this before. Manco redid the drawings, but by this point I had to figure out all the dimensions for the job myself to correct the issues. I wasn’t going to leave a review, but when doing the rough out for the patio door I discovered even the revised measurements were incorrect. Manco never offered a partial refund for the inconvenience, and they put the blame at their intern’s feet, which I thought showed a lack of class.

First time dealing with renovations this size. Manco team has made this process so seamless for us. Julia, who is in charge of the design is so professional and passionate about her work, she understood what we wanted and was able to materialize what we were envisioning and more. She and her team are so responsive and friendly that sometimes you feel like your are dealing with friends as opposed to a contractor. So far our experience dealing with Julia and Manco has been so enjoyable and exciting. These are the type of people that take pride and accountability on the work they do!

The design work for my project was beyond my expectations, all communication was professional, timely and very helpful — from concept to permit approval. Julia is excellent at guiding the process and working with her was a complete pleasure.

I need my main floor changed in a word there were too many rooms, doors and not enough space. Julia came in viewed my problems and went to work designing the space, exactly what I had envisioned. Julia produced a perfect design for my home. I highly recommend her to design your renovation needs.
