I have 2 kittens, about 7 months old, and when trying to transition them to an adult food, one of them had a pretty ugly allergic reaction to the new food. When discussing food options with the vet, I didn’t want a vet diet as it’s pricey. I began looking for limited ingredient diets and came across a few. When asking the vet which one would be best, she suggested Natural Balance Green Pea and Venison Limited Ingredient. When I went to find a place to get it, I was struggling to find someone who provided it … then I found Canadian Pet Connection! They have it! I ordered on a Friday night, it was shipped Monday and at my door in just a couple of days (just outside of Hamilton). I love that I’m supporting an Ontario family business and would highly recommend them!

Edit: May 18th received a phone call from operations manager about my order. Seems there may be system issues on their end. As requested I’ve sent them photo evidence of incorrect items I received. Hopefully I will receive my return label soon. I’m glad the operations manager reached out to me - happy to have this issue resolved. I’ve changed my one star review to 3 as a result.I’ve been ordering online for several months, orders have been accurately filled and sent in a reasonable time frame. My last order was filled with incorrect items. On May 1st I sent an email explaining issue and requested a return label so that I could return the incorrect items. Since then I’ve sent 2 more emails and still no response. I feel I shouldn’t have to pay for shipping as a result of their error. Very poor customer service. I will no longer order from this store.

Ordered pet supplies for our dog through them, the supplies showed up packaged in an old box of insect killer, Raid. Had to wash all of the open toys and packaging inside as a precaution to ensure the health of our dog. Will not be ordering again from them.

I’ve read some negative reviews after placing my order with the store, and was unsure how my experience would be. I was pleasantly surprised that the order was delivered quickly within 48 hours. I ordered a hot spot spray from the Canadian Pet Connection, the product I got wasn’t available in other pet stores. Definitely recommend this store for quality pet products

We live in Alberta and ordered online. We ordered 4 dog harness patches. We chose to order from this company as we wanted to support a Canadian company and the patches were exactly what we wanted for our dogs to wear when we’re out training in public.We placed the order at the end of February, and paid $16 in shipping for them. About a month later I checked on our order and saw that the patches had not been shipped yet. I contacted customer service and received a quick reply that the product we ordered took some time for them to receive from the supplier but they would arrive and ship in 1-2 weeks. I thought this was a reasonable explanation and told customer service that I would continue waiting for them to ship.Today, 4 weeks after my communication with customer service, I checked my order again and the patches still had not shipped. At this point I’ve been waiting approximately 8 weeks for these patches to ship. I emailed the woman from customer service requesting a refund as we need these patches for training and can’t wait any longer for them to hopefully ship.I gave them 2 stars for my review as we got our refund within 15 minutes of requesting it. We won’t be ordering from this company again due to shipping times. I’m not able to comment on the quality of their products as we cancelled our order.

I had placed an order in bulk on February 17th and did not receive my order till March 11. I didn’t even receive the full order, they did not tell me the items were out of stock which was $180 worth of products. Then they proceed to email me that they will give me a refund of $180 only to charge me that $180. In total they have taken $900 from my credit card when I only received $500 worth of products. Poor customer service and they take money instead of returning. No communication on when the food will arrival or how long. Website says under 7 business days but it took almost a month. They even emailed me saying they would deliver the second half of the order that was out of stock. I would recommend to order cat food in bulk elsewhere. Too much hassle, do not receive the full order, get over charged and very poor communication.

Ordered online. Sent food that expires in 8 months, even though the manufacturer confirmed their food is good for 2 years from manufacturing date. Seems they pawn off older food to unsuspecting online customers. And rather than just providing a solution, Brandon insists on talking" about the situation. There is nothing to talk about

Meh...okay. Prices are on par with local retailers. Only worth it if they have a sale, and/or you buy enough, but not too much, to meet their free shipping. Else, shipping charges negate advantages over buying local. Disappointing though, is inconsistency in Managers willing to accommodate customer's needs and one Manager contradicting another by reneging service offered by another Manager. That turned me right off, and for this reason, will not purchase my pet food from this retailer in the future.
