The place is bigger than I expected! It's fun with the activities and lots to see. Highly recommend if it's along the way

I recently visited the Powerhouse at Stave Falls, and it was a captivating journey that blended history, technology, and natural beauty. From the moment I stepped inside, the Powerhouse transported me back in time with its incredible collection of photos and stories that vividly portrayed the bustling BC Hydro owned town that once thrived here. The nostalgia-inducing display of first generation" household electric appliances was a delightful glimpse into the past.One of the highlights of my visit with the family was the opportunity to witness a mesmerizing tesla coil demonstration. A fascinating display of hydro power generation for Vancouver from the early 1910s to 2000. Good for the whole family with hands-on experiments for the kids to show how power is created and how it is used.

Loved this historical place with very interesting displays / exhibits. A lot to enjoy and learn about history and how electricity is made. A place you must visit if you are around this area.

It was wonderful! Lots of history, great things to look at, lots of interactive activities & kid friendly. A nice historical gem in the valley, highly recommend

I thought it was only quick video at first, maybe a little gift shop tour. Nope! You see everything! Turbines, generators, over head crane, plus small experiments to see in detail how electricity is made by hydro dams.Bonus all staff were happy and engaging, but gave distance to explore all the nooks and crannies.For $8 - I'd recommend this to anyone.

This was a surprisingly really great museum. It was fun and interactive and the history has been really well preserved. There's a really terrible and hilarious video to watch. And there's lots of fun ghost stories that go with that place also.
