BEST hotpot place in Calgary! Ryan, who served us is such a humble and inspiring person. we believe he is also the owner. he showed us the proper way of cooking the meats and got to talk to him more about his menu plans and his goal for the restaurant. best experience and service! highly recommended!

Very nice experience! I got good recommandations for the broth flavors, for the meat, for the noodles and for the sauces. I loved the peanut satay sauce! The meat is also from Alberta, very good quality (sirloin and meat balls). I recommend this place! And people are so friendly. Thanks!Si vous voulez vivre la vraie expérience du hot pot chinois, je recommande cet endroit. La viande est très bonne. L’accueil est hyper chaleureux!

Awesome hot pot experience!Our server (floor manager? owner?) was very eccentric and enjoyed explaining and highlighting his recommendations from the menu. Throughout the night he was very kind and attentive to our table. When it came to lighting our birthday cake (that we brought) no one in the restaurant had a lighter. Our kind sir was quick to bring us a hilarious substitute (see photo).Overall great experience, the beef here was super quality, and the signature house-made beef balls were the best we've had in town. The sauce station also had a delicious house-made peanut sauce to mix with (I personally go soy sauce, sesame oil, peanut sauce, chili oil, with lots of green onions).On the other hand, the seafood and pork items were a bit average, next time around I think we'll focus more on the beef.It was a bit unfortunate that they were out of certain menu items (like udon, ramen noodles) however the rest of the menu made up for it.

A bit expensive, but quality slices or beef. We just want to try the few beef parts that we know are good in hotpot cooking: Rump, Fore Shank, Chuck and Ribeye. Honestly, it’s a bit hard to differentiate them when you put it all together in hotpot. Even the texture and taste are the same, so it doesn’t really matter. We added cuttlefish ball, luncheon meeting and enoki mushroom to add a different rate and texture aside from the meat. We got the half-half soup of Creamy soy milk miso broth and Beef broth. The soy milk was too sweet for our liking and it kinda reminds me of carbonara sauce. Staff were fast and precise with our order. There are only two families during our visit on a weekday. Lots of parking outside too. They also have alcohols like beer and soju, so I guess this is a good spot to bring the gang for a party hotpot!

3.5 to 4. This is different type of hot pot comparing to Sichuan cuisine’s. I loved the whole experience. Meat was so tender and tasty, good quality. Environment was good, nothing fancy, you are there for the food though. Service was good. Make sure to try the handmade meatballs.

Had a Great experience! Got the Beef Bone and Herbal broth, they are so tasty. The beef is great, it was a fun experience. Food portion is large, was surprised by the portion.

This hotpot style comes from Guangdong (Canton) province in Southern China, where people use lightly favored broth to highlight the original yet subtly different flavor from multiple parts of the beef. You can often see people sitting at a casually set up table outside a butcher’s stand, spending half an afternoon slowly enjoying a beef hotpot served freshly from the shop.We had a wonderful experience in this restaurant. First, this hotpot style requires impeccable beef quality as the broth will only magnify any flaw, and we are all very impressed. The owner/manager is super knowledgeable and keeps to a high standard for his raw materials. As a bonus point, you’ll also see him walking around introducing each part of the meat and the best way to cook them — please do take his advices :)We came all the way from San Francisco for this hotpot because we don’t have this style in the Bay Area. And it certainly didn’t disappoint us.
