Blue Diamond Bar & Grill
The past couple times I've been the service and food has been great. This time not so much, we ordered take out for my sister's birthday and all of our orders tasted off. Chicken was very dry, portions were small, some meals weren't as advertised. When we called to express our concerns, we were given nothing but attitude. Please learn to take constructive criticism. I worked in retail for many years and would never treat a customer like that.

Excellent eclectic menu with superior service and good food. Everything from East Indian cuisine, to pizza, steaks and hamburgers. Good beer selection and very clean restaurant/ bar.

Best Indian food in Richmond! The butter chicken is phenomenal; you will be amazed at the richness of the sauce. We had it for supper and it was so good I ordered the mac and cheese butter chicken for lunch the next day, haha. You have to try it for yourself.

What an astounding little gem this bar & grill is, out in Richmond of all places! From the moment we walked in the smell of the spices already had me hooked. As far as delicious and authentic Indian fare goes, Blue Diamond is easily one of THE best I’ve experienced in Ottawa. It’s well worth going out of your way for, even if you don’t live in the area. I highly recommend the cauliflower pakora in particular, but I’m already so excited to go back and try the onion bhaji and shahi paneer next!

Amazing Indian food! We haven't tried anything else off the menu because it is so good. Everything is made from scratch, every single item we've tried is delicious. Our favorites are the butter chicken and chicken tandoori. All of their vegetarian dishes are also great. Family owned and operated, extremely friendly. So fortunate to have them in Richmond!

Just a bit of advice, change your oil. I got the fish & chips, the wife got a club house. The fish tasted funky due to the oil and the fries taste the same, sort of musty. Spiced chicken on a club was not so good. I think the chicken was prepared and meant for an Indian dish it was not enjoyed. Keep it simple is your best bet.

Went for breakfast and it was excellent! The home fries were so good and crispy. Everyone I was with commented that the food was good and the value was great.The bathrooms were a little dirty though and had no soap in there. But I think it was cleaned shortly after. Overall, a great experience. The server was very friendly and fun.

This is best restaurant experience we have had in years. The food was beyond delicious and the portion sizes were generous. The family who owns the restaurant introduced themselves and provided exceptional service.
