Had them contact me through Toronto office and they were extremely rude and would not give a straight answer to any questions. Could also not understand them on the phone and they kept saying they could hear me, and also gave out incorrect phone numbers. Pityful individuals who are getting paid by our government.

They do not comply with power of attorney's nor do they work with individuals needs. They basically collect any income you have and decide what the government deems important, whether or not you are homeless. They would rather you live on the streets as long as your student loan is getting paid.Government helping the government.

They do not communicate with the family and when they do it is only to benefit themselves. Every time I try and contact them they either have very delayed response or they just ignore you. Honestly, It would have been better to go through the slow Canadian court and pay the lawyer fee than to work with the PGT.

I cannot stress how much of pain they have been. They do no communicate with the family and they let payments be overdue for months. Trusting the public Guardian and Trustee was a mistake. Don't even consider them as an option. Word of advice. Update your wills or else your family will suffer and the PGT couldn't care less.

My name is Laura. I have dealt with this organization in Ottawa many years ago they were very unhelpful discriminative, untrustworthy and they are an evil organization.
