Cycle Bertrand

Very nice and friendly staff. Needed a front derailleur, the service tech went above and beyond to find the one that would fit. He even took the time to show me how to use the chain extractor to remove my chain. He could of easily said that I need to bring my bike in for the repair and charge me an arm and a leg, but instead he showed me how easy it was to do it myself. And with a little help from YouTube I was able to install and adjust it perfectly in about 1 hour. Cost 39.99$ for derailleur and 28.00$ for chain extractor. Thank you to the staff. Will recommend to everyone I know.

The owner is an angel. Last Saturday I had a flat tire and it was late in the day. I was 10km from home (Ottawa) and even though the store policy is not to do repairs on Saturday, he rose to the occasion and fixed my tire. Further, he didn't charge me for the repair. He has a big heart!!

Extremely rude and unfriendly staff, basically yells at you and chides you for wanting help/needing something fixed. The only reason this place is still in business is because it’s the only bike shop in Hull

I brought my bike in for a fix, and received exceptional customer service. I found the staff at Cycle Bertand to be extremely helpful and friendly. My bike is all fixed and I am a happy customer. :)

Bought a kickstand there, and less than a month later it broke. They remembered selling it to me even though I no longer had my receipt, and they replaced it with a new one and installed it for free, taking care of the broken one under its warranty. Good service on their part.Update: Also had a flat tire. It was the same tire that they serviced me 5 months ago, so they repaired it for free. Upgraded my review from 4 start to 5 stars. Way to go Cycle Bertrand!

The service here is great. I needed a tire replaced and had to leave my bike there cause it was last minute. The owner was awesome and had it replaced early the next day. Will go back for sure.

I have no idea how good this store is as my e-bike was too wide to fit on their rack. The other rack was the kind that you can only put your front tire in. Why go to a bike store if I cannot safely park my bike?No reason.

Horrible work. Caused damage to my bike only to be met with an owner screaming at me. Don't go here if you have any respect for yourself and your bike. Got Extremely mad when saw the amount of grease on the chain sorry I bought the bike second hand I don't know what the previous owner did to it like you asked me what did to our do to the chain you want me to work on this? I'm going to have wash my hands 50 times". Well clearly you didn't touch it because you did nothing to the chain and the gears completely stopped working. Instead of threading a cable through a guide you just put it around the guide so that's the reason it keeps slipping out. $130 for a back tire and didn't even get a tube cap with it."

I was stranded with a flat tire near cycle Bertrand, far from my vehicle.The friendly owner not only patched my tire after closing but also installed a tube all free of charge. Go show this guy some love. Definitely recommend

0 people skills. Extremely rude owner! Acts as if his failing business is our fault lol. Do not recommend unless you want to deal with an unprofessional business. Stay far! You're better off going somewhere where they will treat you and your bike with respect and care.
