The menu was well put together, easy to understand and detailed. Various choices, love Indian restaurants for their vegan options and this one didn't disappoint. The food was divine, even after I reheated my leftovers at home.The servers were friendly and quick, the food didn't take long at all. The place is a bit loud inside and outside. Outside you get to watch a game if one is on. Inside the staff may have been a bit overwhelmed at the time, there was a food spill that wasn't cleaned for an extended period and the smoke from the kitchen irritated my throat when I passed too close.All in all a good restaurant experience.

I ordered the goat biryani with Indian Iced coffee. I asked for extra spicy and was pleased it was not mild. Coffee was very flavourful. Paper straw was the only issue.

I am completely disappointed!Was my regular restaurant to eat at when I am craving some East Indian food. Ordered today from Skip the Dishes, paid $30 for a Masala Dosa Thali order and Hakka Chicken Dumplings. The restaurant did not even include the Dosa in the order. What am I supposed to eat the Sambhar with? So irresponsible!! I am never ordering again from the restaurant.

Recently visited this place for my hubby’s birthday. We ordered tandori chicken, Hakka chicken dumplings, chicken biryani & drinks. Chicken was very dry, biryani was also ok but I loved the hakka chicken dumplings. Ambience is good, staff is very polite. I would visit again for the dumplings & will try more things.

Great dining experience and delicious, flavorful food. Has halal meat options, along with vegetarian options. Also, many Gluten-free options available. The portion size for entrees is large and easily can be shared. Service was great with wait staff frequently checking in. Clean and spacious dining restaurant with a nice view from 3rd floor.

The Clay Oven has got many franchises in the city of Winnipeg, I visited the one downtown at Shaw Park. The place is well connected by public transport and has ample parking space outside. It's located at Shaw Park. A day of a baseball match you can enjoy the match and have lunch with family and friends. You can take the elevator to reach the 3rd floor where it's located. But yeah, you need to wait for a while to get into the elevator during rush hours. The ambiance inside the restaurant is extraordinary. The staff is very approachable and friendly. The price in the restaurant is decent among all other contemporaries. I tasted the non veg thali, the portion was enough for a single person. The mango lassi was absolutely delicious. Would highly recommend this place for authentic Indian food.

Been going here for years and absolutely love the food and atmosphere! The best Clay Oven in the city!!Brought my guests from out of town and they absolutely loved every aspect... everything we ordered was delicious!You must try the Chili Chicken, Deluxe Biryani, and Gajrela...my favourites! Hakka Chicken noodles are amazing too! They have great naan also ☺️...oh and mango Lassi too...what can I say, it's all delicious!Kiran was an amazing waitress who was attentive and kind!This is a very nice restaurant and a great location!Photos to come!
