Angelo's Homestyle Restaurant
We were travelling from states and stayed near the restaurant. All together we were 11 people. Food was very tasty and service was so quick. Amazing breakfast. Normally, I don’t do reviews but couldn’t resist for this one. Waitress was super nice.

Ok but not as good as it once was - used to be a five star breakfast place.The pros - food came out hot and portions are large.The bad - I don't think they could cut the peameal any thinner (definitely not thick cut" as the menu described)

Angelo's Homestyle Restaurant
During our brunch, the place was about 75% occupied. Food was good. Portions were adequate. Price point was similar to the big-box franchises. However, presentation and service had room for improvement. We were the only Asians there at the time. Wondering if there was any correlation between the two constant factors. I am also not a contributing factor to a common Asian stereotype: I normally order 2 meals or an app with main and desert. I tip 10% when I am dissatisfied. Otherwise, I am 20-30% across the board. If I had a larger brunch budget and less choices of places to enjoy it, I would still leave this place as my absolute last of last places to voluntarily patronise.

Slow service. Kitchen was disorganized food came out cold. Not worth the time or money. What a waste. Forgot bacon, no cutlery and I had to ask for syrup for French toast. DO NOT GO HERE!!

The restaurant is very good but they need to improve on there appetizers as fries with gravy,poutine, etc are not appetizers they are considered sides. Angelo's should revise the appetizer portion of the menu. The salad needs to be improved on as there were only a couple pieces of both tomatoes and cucumbers. Also the presentation of the salad was a sloppy . The steak is supposed to be 10 oz but appeared to be a 6 oz instead. The steak is a rip off I do not advised getting it as you are not getting what you pay for.

Ordered breakfast and the meats were overcooked. I want to support local restaurants so I came here instead of grabbing a fast Tim Horton's breakfast. That would have been a better choice. When I asked for water, a bottled water was served. I asked for Tap water and was told they are not allowed to serve tap water. The bottled water cost $2. I have never been to a restaurant or fast food place that denied me tap water. After $20 bill plus tip, this seems very unreasonable.The service for waitress was very good - I only stayed because of her very congenial nature. Washroom smell funky.

Came for breakfast this morning. The place looks alright but the food was awful. Tasted like it was made in a microwave and the options were basic. The woman who served us wasn’t the greatest either. We should’ve just gone to McDonald’s next door honestly.

Food portions are still great however quality is definitely gone down. Food was cold. Advertised home fries with breakfast, but got wedges instead. Also now charging for water? No cups of water available, you have to purchase a bottle of water.
