Snaw Naw As Campground

Nice camp with a good location. Loved the waterfront tent site. The washrooms were very clean. Sites on the waterfront are a decent size. We will return.

Had a nice view. Also the shower facilities are second to none. That being said, because of the amount of dead grass around wood burning fires were not aloud. Understandably so. The camp site posts were mostly rotted off and some of the hose bibs for fresh water connections were leaking. I ended giving our neighbours ours because it was leaking badly and using the one on the site beside us that wasn’t in use. Overall was a good experience and the beach was nice to walk the dog on also the freeway noise wasn’t horrible but was present. Some maintenance on the site posts is in order however.

Arrived with a confirmed reservation for Victoria day weekend just to find out that the campground is closed for construction with no place to stay. No upfront information sent despite email in file, deposit paid was not refunded. Was informed on the surrounding campgrounds that this has happened to several campers already, all left stranded. If you hold a reservation for summer 2023, call the campground well ahead of time to make sure it is in business when you arrive!

Nice view right on the water front even if you stay at the back of campsite

Lovely tranquil spot oceanside. Beautiful beach front with a rocky shore.Full hook ups and friendly and accommodating staff. Theres a new gas station and store close by. They have generous spots and the facilities were all super clean..would definitely return. The only drawback was no wifi available or it would get a 5 out of 5.

Great location, can be a little noisy from the highway but it is tolerable. People who work here are really nice.

Had a campsite booked, but all the ferries got cancelled so i couldn't actually make it. However, the campground folks were very helpful in accommodating the unforeseen change of plans.

I don’t like to leave negative reviews so still giving 4 stars but want to share our experience. Showed up shortly after 8pm and the office was closed (their hours list they’re available till 8:30). We didn’t have a reservation but we read on the office door to check in the following day, not realizing you had to have a reservation. There were tons of open spots so we took one. We stopped by the office in the morning to pay and the person got mad at us because we misread the sign and I guess we weren’t allowed to just pick a spot. We paid for a night ($42 for a no power site which is an insane price). We could have easily just left without paying or we could’ve gone elsewhere to camp if we had realized what the sign was saying. Not sure why the person working the office would get mad for providing them with business. It’s not like we took someone’s spot. Anyways the area was pretty but probably wouldn’t stay again due to the high price. Also quite a bit of noise from the highway nearby.

If you want ANY privacy this site is NOT for you. RV are tightly packed together and the water and electricity is between two site they have to share it. Also, wifi is only available in their office. We asked the campground for full service but it only have partial service. There is no showers and only 2 single preson bathrooms for about 60 RV in the whole campground. Management is good and the waterfront is nice.
