Blush lane has much better selection and much friendlier staff than here. We came in, and we were not greeted, nor given a smile or any acknowledgment. The store feels empty, and all the staff are very unhelpful, and act like they really don’t want to be there. If you want good selection and welcoming staff, blush lane is a far better option, and only 2 minutes away from here!

Well.....was hoping for a new store I could find good stuff.....there is here but it's the same stuff you get every other store. The local stuff is new and exclusive but.....not anything that is wow or has me pending money. You can get these organic products in Freson bros and other stores. Just shop around. Prices are high here it's the Whyte ave pricing. Other stores have the same products for $1 cheaper or more. Won't be shopping here again and this store won't last in this economic climate with the rent in this area so high. Italian centre is only 15 min drive up road......go there if you want good odd products made with better ingredients as Euro regulations are higher. Best wishes....A One and Done Store for me.

The store itself is really nice, but agree with the other comments that one can find most of the products, even the speciality ones for less at other stores, including Blush Lane and the Italian Centre, or down the organic aisle at Superstore. The blonde lady in the vitamins section is not very friendly, and the cashiers are hit or miss.

I am impressed with the store!! They offer a wide range of hard-to-find products, making it an excellent choice for those who want to buy organic or have specific dietary restrictions. They have a great selection of vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options, all conveniently located in one place. The staff is amazing and friendly, always ready to assist and answer any questions I have. The store’s cafe is a delightful surprise. They serve delicious smoothies that left me amazed. All in all, Community Natural Foods has quickly become my new favorite place in town.

They have excellent food presentation, staff are friendly, prices are more or less the same as everywhere else, it's the cleanest store I've been in, and for the size they have the most cashiers so you never have to wait, your in and out.The best thing about community natrual foods, that I cant find anywhere else, is here they dont have a bunch of junk food just before the cashier, it seems like everywhere else you have to wait by chocolate and other sweets, stacked to your shoulders, or above your head in order to get out of the store.Don't you think a health food store should sell only health food, especially stacking it up at the till where you have no choice but to stand and wait?

Absolutely loved the new place! The produce was lovely - a bit expensive but was advised that they are working on the pricing. The owner Paul was incredibly knowledgeable and his customer service skills were excellent (very refreshing as customer service has become of thing of the past at most places...) Would highly recommend this new establishment.

Congratulations on your new store but I'm not impressed with the store/staffs. As I found a lack of communication between the staffs. On June 9th I was in line at 0830am and I was the first 25 in line one manager came and gave numbers(chit) to the first 50 customers who get goodie bags(full-size) after spending $50. After 9 am they opened up the store and everyone starts shopping after half n hours checking line was long and cashiers gave out those bags to everyone who spend $50 without checking 1-50 numbers(chit). When my turn comes one of the supervisors told everyone behind me that 50 goodie bags is sold out and I was still holding that number that time.I was so disappointed with the management and their communication skills as after spending $53 I went home without the goodie bag even though I was in the first 50 customers in the lineup.Products are very pricey and most of them people find in Supermarkets like Costco, Superstore, No frills, Co-Op etc.

The store is nice and has some hard-to-find products, but the prices are incredibly high. $8 for a yam, $9 for a carton of vegetable broth…. Difficult to justify shopping here rather than Save On across the street.

I lived in Calgary a long time close to 14St. SW where their store is, the one by Chinook Mall is good too but 14St. is my favorite. This new Edmonton location is unfortunately nothing in the least like Calgary. Calgary is designed in a rustic way not a cold Save-On kinda way. There's handmade crafts, handbags, incense etc. It feels nothing like a typical grocery store. The eatery in Calgary is fantastic, busy, people love to come there and eat healthy food or just have a cold or hot drink, or even just a nice clean glass of water. Big bulletin board with events and business cards re holistic events and services...there's indeed a Community there. The food aisles are more rustic in how they are set up, and so many interesting foods to shop. A lot of staff are knowledgeable and practice holistic health. The Edmonton store is the opposite....looks like a Save On, empty, not busy, no eatery like it is in Calgary, staff that are the same as any grocery store, no community, no cool crafts, pricey supplements. Blush Lane, Optimum Health, and The Earth's General Store close by also sell supplements, two of these stores sell groceries...you have to compete better with those with better prices, your prices are too high. Personally I prefer Earth's General Store and some supplements get cheaper online. I was excited Community was opening here but spent less than 10min in their store and won't be returning unless I'm in Calgary. Totally disappointing.

Friendly knowledgable staff. Spacious shopping with regular sales. Great place to find all your organic food needs. Great deal on compost and worm castings...no room for such items at the smaller organic store on whyte ave. This is my new favourite store! Also, as a sidenote: the other reviewer" who gave the "one and done" review of this place
