Pet Planet Jasper Gates

I purchased a Kong Cloud inflatable collar following my dog's neutering. The package I purchased looked as though it may have been previously returned (price tag missing, taped and stapled closed). I specifically asked if it didn't work if I could return it, I was told no problem, justhold on to your receipt. Two days later I was not able to return it. Disappointing service.

On Thursdays, they have 15% off all treats. The treats my pup likes are locally sourced branded by Pet Planet. It was explained to me how they review all supplier and third party suppliers to ensure they provide quality pet food. The prices are decent so I will be going there for treats and food from now on. Service was great too!

The groomer is super sweet and has excellent communication when it comes to what will look good or bad. My yorkie is always excited once he's gotten groomed, and I know she always treats him kindly. The pricing is reasonable ($70 ish) for a full grooming service. I have started purchasing his food from this location, and the sale associates are helpful and knowledgeable about their products. They have a large selection of high-quality food with no byproducts listed. There is a decent amount of treats and toys to choose from as well, and the pricing is less than that of pet value and pet land.

It was a humble pet store and the place had a nice ambiance too. It was even relaxing to shop here. I found nice and interesting items but their canned goods were definitely the ones that got my attention since I need to purchase more foods for my pets. It was a nice store, which I am certain of.

I brought my dog in for grooming today. I was met by very friendly and knowledgeable staff. The groomer (Lauren) did a fantastic job and was very gentle and kind with my scared pup. I can't speak highly enough about Pet Planet! I'm definitely going to be a returning customer. Oh, and they also have a terrific selection of pet food, toys, leashes, etc.!

Love shopping here! It’s a convenient location for me, and the staff are very kind and helpful. That said, I’d leave a lower rating for grooming. I know quite a few people (and their dogs) who love this groomer. She must be great with other dogs. Not so good with my fearful puppy (or his owner).

I called late in the day to get our pup's nails trimmed, and they were able to squeeze us in, which I greatly appreciate. Once I arrived the staff were very kind, and great with our dog. He was a little excited, but they were able to get his nails trimmed without issue. They also had a great selection of treats, even some locally made dog treats. If you want to keep Alberta strong, shopping at places like this is a great way to wield your economic power to that end. By shopping here you support AB employees, AB small business, and an AB-based franchise. We had a great experience here, and look forward to shopping here again in the future. Highly recommended.

After getting a new puppy we asked around and heard that Jasper gates Pet Planet had a very good groomer.Lauren was great and we learned lots talking with her and our puppy looked wonderful
