$13.99 for worn out red tshirt!?This store is ambitious. Sadly, they get their stock for free and price based upon brand names. A tshirt is still just a used tshirt. Do better.

Refund policy is a scam. No change rooms. Prices on everything has doubled .Self serve checkouts. Worst is the refund debacle. 14 days to try at home and return. NO REFUND . Only if you exchange within 14 days and only if you buy more products of same value within another 14 days. If you can't find anything then you lose your money ! Or keep repeatedly coming back until you do , within 14 days. Who in Management cooked up this ridiculous , detrimental to customer scheme? I will not be thrift shopping here again.

Mainly the reason i go to this store is because of MAGDALENA - she is amazing - so kind, always happy and always makes you feel sooo welcome. Have to admit though that the prices are somewhat outrageous. Thank goodness I go with my mother who is a senior and we get 30% off. Other than Magdalena and the 30% off - I would not be shopping there.

I used to go to Value Village 4-5 times a week, now I never go. They will sell donated dollar store items for more than the dollar store. Prices have gotten so high that you are better to go to a store like Costco, Walmart or Winners. At least at those places you get to try it on, they allow you to return items for a refund and in some cases you have a warranty. Besides it is a private for profit company (not a charity at all) that gets their items for FREE!!!!

No change rooms available, prices have doubled, can only exchange all the things that don't fit for store credit, and staff pretty much refuse to check you out or help you unless you are paying cash. This means I don't really go anymore because it's so impractical to check myself out when I'm with my child, and weeding through so many stained and ripped and out of date clothes isn't worth the few gems I might find.

I went to the store and picked out a bunch of items. To my dismay I find out there are no change rooms. So I can't try my clothes on, and I can't return them. Exchange only. And you only have 14 days to do this. Ridiculous policy. Can't even get a store credit. Value Village this is simply bad business!!! You get people sucked into a horrible cycle of always having to return to your store, or just take the loss of money and not return.I did a survey directly to the store expressing my dismay and concern about the bad business policy. I received a response within 24 hours from the manager at the store, Lisa. She was wonderful! Very friendly and genuinely cared about my concerns. I was very fortunate and was able to get a refund for my items, explaining that I don't shop there often and ultimately the company was just taking my money. Lisa got a lovely young man named Owen to help me with my refund. Although I will not be returning to the store to shop until, at the very least, they get change rooms back, I felt that Owen and Lisa deserved a shout out for their exceptional customer service, kindness and understanding. Thats the only reason I gave 4 stars. If it wasn't for them they would have got 1 star.

Staff friendly, store organized and clean. This review is for 'corperate'. You make millions off of free donations PUT A CHANGE ROOM IN THE STORES!!! Seriously, customers who are shopping in your store generally do not have the time, nor want the hassle of buying USED clothing, not being able to try it on only to have to RETURN to the store...not even for a refund...A CREDIT. Male manager chasing me into the womens washroom yelling at me to come out...lol. And to add more frustration you decided to make us check ourselves out. Guess times are tough when you can't...sorry...are too greedy to pay for staff and customer convenience.

I used to love shopping at value village but I find that they have up the prices and alot of items are the same or close to their original store price. If I'm going to pay retail value I might as well buy it at the store it came from!!!Plus give your customers a change room back and stop using covid as an excuse. Your no more likely to get covid in the change roon then out on the floor
