A beautiful heritage home in a peaceful pastoral setting. The home tour gives us a glimpse into the lives of our predecessors. One can tour the barn, see the garden and take a lovely walk along the river.

Beautiful historical site with friendly and knowledgeable staff members. The gift shop was closed however one of the staff members opened the shop for me and I was able to buy 2 beautiful Royal Albert tea sets and some heritage seeds. The staff member wore beautiful clothing that was period appropriate, some of which she sewed herself. Everything from her hair to her glasses were period appropriate. You could tell she took great pride in her position there and it made our experience accelerated. The house is stunning both inside and out and the grounds are beautiful. Take time to peruse the fruit orchard, reading the plaques or walk to the bee hive and watch the bees at work. There is an indigenous carving house being built with beautiful architecture so it will be very nice to see once it is complete. There are picnic benches so if you would like to bring a picnic and sit in the sun on the water after your tour of the Stewart House, you can have yourself a very enjoyable and full day at the Stewart farm.

This is a nice and interesting place to visit from a historical standpoint. We were there as a group with two kindergarten classes and everyone found it very interesting. The staff were great and offered an informative tour of very well cared for heritage buildings and grounds. There is plenty of parking and public washrooms available and walking trails to take in some nature while there.

Beautiful spot and decently quiet since most people go to Blackie and Crescent. The museum is a must see if you have never been inside, there are staff there to give you a guided tour! It is a perfect spot for picnic and spending a day relaxing at this park.

Literally the best place to hangout and learn about history. They also had an activity to find the items listed on a page. The staff was soo kind and funny and I literally loved her outfit it was kind of how historic women dressed up.Would definitely recommend going there.

Loved exploring this historic site. It’s a great place to visit during Halloween. They’ve done an excellent decorating job this year for the spooky season.

What a lovely place to visit with family. We enjoyed our visit. Kids loved exploring the place & had fun doing a little scavenger hunt inside the house. Definitely recommended to visit.
