This company is HORRIBLE. Ordered crib board didn’t arrive. Was told I’ve sent another one. When I asked for tracking # no response… I kept asking for when shipped and tracking #.Weeks later still no response. Finally board shows up with out stand that was ordered and paid for. Owner told me he would send one. Owner told me he used same tracking numbers as missing board… When I asked Canada post if they do this( use same tracking #s) they advised me absolutely NOT. When it didn’t arrive he then told me it was just a cheap piece of wood and not worth anything anyways. Countless hours and wasted time on emails .Who sells a product then says it’s cheap garbage. DO NOT buy here!. Bought a crib board from a company on Etsy from Calgary… GORGEOUS piece was beautiful wrapped and note thanking for purchase. Can’t remember name if company but it was beautiful. Do yourself a favour and look elsewhere.

I wish I'd read these reviews here earlier. Like many others it seems I have not received my order and get no updates or responses from the business. I have emailed multiple times as well as called. You can't even leave a message because the mailbox is full of other complaints. I'll be disputing the charge with my credit card company since it seems like my only recourse.

I ordered a crib board for my parents for Christmas. It did not take long to receive it, when I emailed to ask about tracking the order I got a quick and helpful reply. The board is amazing the details are awesome and the wood is really good quality. Thank you!

Ordered the board way back in August and waited a reasonable amount of time knowing it was going to be largely hand made. After several weeks of phoning and emailing, one of my emails got a response when I asked for an update. This was September 8 and I was told by the owner that the board was nearing completion and would be shipped that Friday. I waited at least three weeks after that and sent out another inquiry as to the delay. I got no response. I then sent another email recapping what had gone on and expressed my disappointment and frustration at the long delays. Having had dismal responses from the owner I finally felt I had to lay down an ultimatum of either: getting the product by Friday (which was last week; October 14), or a full refund. Failure to do so would result in the review you're seeing here. BTW that final email was sent the beginning of that week.This is truly dismal customer service. It would seem the owner has bitten off more than he can chew and needs assistance in administrative stuff and assistance in the production of the boards.SO my advice to anyone is DON'T spend your money on this product unless you are prepared to POSSIBLY gamble your money and/or have to wait a very long time to get the product.UPDATE - once Curtis saw my review he THEN quickly replied to my email. After some back and forth, the board was finally sent to me (which it should NOT have taken this amount of effort to get the board shipped to me). The board arrived in the mail today, October 19th (roughly 2.5 months after the original order).I will attach pictures on what I believe to be some quality control issues. It appears the finishing isn't as smooth as it could be. For the money paid for this product, the finishing should be perfect and it isn't.

Let me start off by saying that Laser's Edge Design was recommended to me by a friend after she received a beautiful product from here. When she sent me a picture of the board she got customized, I immediately wanted to get one for my dad as a Christmas gift. I placed my order on December 13. A few days after I ordered it, I called to ask if they thought it would be delivered by Christmas time. I was told I should get it in less than a week... Fast forward FOUR MONTHS and I still have not received it nor have I gotten a refund which I was told I was going to get.I have called many, many times regarding my product whereabouts and have continuously been told a deadline of, first, when I would receive my product, then, if my product was shipped out or misplaced, and lastly, if Curtis would be remaking my product once he discovered he had misplaced it. I am incredibly disappointed and frustrated with the service I have received by this company.I understand the impact a negative review can have on a small business which is why this has been my last resort. In my last email to Curtis, I stated that if I did not receive my full refund by today, March 31, I would be writing a review about my horrible experience with this company - so here I am.I firmly believe that a successful small business needs to provide great communication with its customers and provide professional customer service, especially when things don't go as planned, as this is what keeps the customers coming back and recommending them to friends and family. That is far from what I have received from this place. I have received one, maybe two responses regarding my order through the chat service on the website out of over five I have made. I have left two voicemails, neither of which were returned. And I have written three emails, all of which have also not received a response.Curtis has countlessly provided me with false deadlines and has not shown me any respect because if he did, he would have given me my money back when he said he was going to and treat me as a priority since it has been over four months since my order was placed.After reading the other negative reviews, I can see that this is the only way to get the attention needed to get my full refund. I have been beyond polite and patient with Curtis; however, I am no longer willing to wait because, as a full-time student working two jobs, this money makes a large difference for me and I would rather it not be sitting in the pocket of someone that does not deserve it.Update: June 8It has now been an additional two months since I wrote this review and have still received zero contact from Curtis.As someone who placed an order for a customized product intended to be gifted to a family member, I think it is more than fair to be refunded the full amount I paid, especially for a product I never got and have received nothing but poor, poor customer service from Laser’s Edge Design. If I could give zero stars, I wouldn’t hesitate to do so.

Ordered and paid for a crib board on Jan 27th 2023 for a wedding on March 4th. Was told it would be done the Monday before the wedding. Still have not received the crib board April 25th and phone calls will not be answered or returned. Left multiple messages. Would not recommend this company unless you want to be ripped off.

Terrible customer service. Buyer beware.I placed an online order for a custom cribbage board (after speaking with someone from the company over the phone) on Jan. 18, 2023. I still have not received this order, and I'm leaving this review after attempting to contact the company six times via various methods (email, phone, Shop app). Laser's Edge Design has not bothered to contact me back.

I felt compelled to post this not because I am angry about it, but because I feel I should warn others who might be buying items as gifts and need them by a certain date.My experience started great; I emailed the company on December 13th to ask if there was any chance an order of 3 boards could be completed and received before Christmas. He replied right away saying yes, that would be no problem, and asked me to process the order on the website. I did this immediately that same day, and received a fast confirmation that the order was received and he again said it would arrive before Christmas. The next day (December 14) I received another email that they “have it on the laser right now engraving”.The order did not arrive by Christmas. By the end of the year it still hadn’t shown up, so on January 3 I sent an email asking if there was shipping info and for an update on when it might arrive. I received an email back the same day saying “we are back in the shop tomorrow and we will be processing orders quickly so we will have shipping info available shortly”.8 days later (Jan. 11) I hadn’t heard anything so I sent another email asking what the delay is, since I had been told it was being made December 14 and would arrive before December 25th. I then waited 8 more days with no response and sent another message on January 19 expressing my disappointment and asking for a response. I followed up again on January 26th, and again no response. On February 6, I called the number for the company with no answer, and was not able to leave a message because the voicemail was full. I tried to connect through the “chat” function on the site with no response, and sent one more email to say that I will be doing everything I can to report this and get my money back, as I was worried that I had been scammed.I called one more time a week later on February 13th and this time was able to leave a voice message, so I asked for them to respond immediately. I finally got a response that night, a text message that said the machine is broken and I would be issued a refund.Needless to say, it was very frustrating to be ignored like this, and to get basically no communication until mid-February on an order that I was told would arrive before Christmas. I was told that the machine was broken, but if that is the case why wasn’t I told this in December when he said my order was being made, or on January 3 when I was told they were back in the shop and would be processing orders quickly? Instead I was told nothing, was ignored until the middle of February and left without Christmas gifts for three family members.Again, I want to emphasize that I’m posting this because I want people to be warned about the situation I had to deal with. While I did finally receive a refund, I feel I was ignored and misled. Unfortunately I can't speak to the quality of the products because I never received anything.

Do not order from this business. I placed an order for 6 boards to resell at our business in Panorama BC in October 2022. Agreed on a design early December and haven't seen them yet as of today May 16th. Last communication with Curtis was an email on March 6th saying they were being top coated and tracking was coming on March 8th - nothing. I have followed up many times with calls and emails with no response. I prepaid for 6 boards and will be seeking a refund by all means available to me at this point, maybe this review will get me a response?

I wish I could leave a more positive review. I received a custom crib board as a gift for Christmas which I loved! I decided to submit a custom order as a wedding gift, and like many reviews here I have not received any updates or responses to my emails and am unable to leave a voicemail because their inbox is full.My order was submitted almost 2 months ago and the wedding has come and gone. I don’t mind waiting for a product, but I do take issue with the non response. The replies that these reviews garner indicate that lasers edge completes thousands of orders a year and that the negative reviews are so seldom which is definitely not the case. It seems like more often than not orders are several months to fulfill (if at all) and zero transparency or communication. I wish I would have thought to look here first before submitting an order. I hope that I can update my review on receipt of the product. Again, I don’t mind waiting, but I would appreciate to be given a reasonable time frame that I can expect to receive this very belated gift. Based on reviews seen here, I could be looking at several more months of received at all. If you do not have the capacity to fulfill an order in a timely way, you should not continue to take people’s money and accept the orders.*update, their website has now been taken down and I just got a bounce back on the email address.
