John and his team took my car in, did an excellent job and I was baffled at the speed of their work! What’s more notable though is that you can see John genuinely cares about each customer and gives his full focus, care and genuine effort towards each customer who steps in the door. The fact that he genuinely wants what’s best for the customer is what stood out most to me and is why I will be returning next time I have car troubles.

Had my truck sent there to do a wheel alignment as well as a safety inspection. The tech had recommended that I do manifold gaskets, I told him to go ahead even though I did not believe they were leaking. Fired the truck up after the job was done and the manifolds we’re actually leaking now at the rear. I told the mechanic I would replace the manifolds myself. When replacing myself I found the rear bolts were loose which would have been the leak I could hear. Also found the new manifold gaskets to be cut up in the middle for some sort of clearance. As far as wheel alignment I was charged more than I have ever paid, almost 250 dollars. Would not recommend shop.

You want service with a smile and people that make you feel welcome, this place is it. Went in for a safety had the best experience. I would definitely recommend.

These guys were an absolutely horrible mechanic to deal with. I had service done on my car, they indicated I needed my front CV shaft/link replaced. After the service, about 500km later, I noticed a very high pitch crunching/squealing sound. The steering wheel started to shake back and forth, and nearly caused an accident.I brought the car to another mechanic and they asked if I had done the work myself, I told them no, and they indicated that the completely wrong part (for a different car) was installed, and had completely shredded my front suspension and bearing. After letting the mechanic speak to John, Johns only offer was to DRIVE the car 3 hours back to him so he could get the right part installed. No offer of a refund, no offer of fixing the problem his techs caused. My car should not have been driven at that point. Extremely dangerous, dishonest and poor experience at John's Auto, shame on you.

Took my car there ffor r brakes and oil change. they definitely didn’t do an oil change because about a week after I took my car home, I had to put three jugs of oil in it. My car is still whining and grinding like it was before I took it. Don’t waste your money taking your car here they will take you money and NOT FIX YOUR CAR

Awesome experience at John's! My car broke down (luckily) near this mechanic and not expecting much I asked if they could have a look at the issue at some point. Not only did they look at my car right away, they squeezed me in and fixed my car wayyy faster than I expected. They really didn't need to do this but they were so empathetic and seemed to really care. I will highly recommend this place to friends and family in the future. And special thanks to Pat at the front desk for the friendly and helpful service.

Hello! John's Auto Service and Repair was highly recommended as a place of good value and fair prices. Well, I didn't expect this! I called last week to make an appointment, along with phoning a second place in town. It was on the weekend. First thing Monday morning a friendly voice from John's called to book an appointment. The other place in town never called back.Thursday came and I was running late. I called and asked to change the time a little later - no problem.From the moment, I stepped inside the door, I was given professional and friendly service. I was asked to have a seat and they'd let me know in a few minutes what work may need to be done. A test was run to see why the engine light was on as well. About only ten minutes later, a service person came out and informed me that the parts were sweating but not enough to warrant expensive repairs since it was an older vehicle. I was very relieved. Had I taken it somewhere else would I have received this treatment? I don't know. But, one thing I did know, they were honest in their appraisal. They refrained from suggesting costly repairs and were fair in their assessment. I was extremely grateful.But how much would the estimate would cost? I don't know if it was because the day was lovely and sunny after our long winter or what, but I was told No Charge".I offered to pay something for the estimate
