Elizabeth Kim is the most competent and professional immigration lawyer that I ever had the pleasure to work with.When I first came into her office, I had so little hope for my case, but Kim worked hard for my case and made the impossible, possible.I will be forever grateful to her and her team.

I cannot speak to her skills as a lawyer. We did not get that far. Perhaps she is very effective.My beef : She is listed under Legal-Aid to help refugees. When my dear (new refugee) friends called her office, her Spanish assistant was kind enough to take in their information and talk to the lawyer on their behalf. She demanded $5000 to start their case! She gave no clear answer as to why she would not accept Legal Aid in their case. They were not given a choice. This lawyer made that choice: (My way or the highway.)The nature of Legal Aid is to have government financial assistance with this difficult relocation process. I spoke to their Immigration specialist and confirmed that this ask of $5000 was outrageous. They (immigration department) were outraged as this was NOT the first time they heard of this from this lawyer. I have witnesses that her office asked for $5000.Refugees are vulnerable and will often not question a lawyer. I believed this was a potential money grab. I called the lawyer myself to confront her,…and of course,… she denied it totally, feigned confusion, shock and repulsion of this outrageous ask. However, she didn’t bother to ask who the names of these clients were... (cue momentary silence).I would recommend to those who need legal aid, to not bother with this lawyer. She reels them in, then asks for thousands. This is misleading marketing, and immigration is WELL aware of her tactics and dealt with her in the past.Update; Her response below is self serving and serious back peddling. If Google wants to contact me, I'm super happy to talk to them and supply witnesses. You got busted and should be ousted. Stop preying on refugees. Don't offer legal aid then do a bait -n -switch. We got another lawyer.Update # 2: Funny how the original response to my phone call and review was total denial and victimhood of this is outrageous". (I'll post part of it at the end and yes I have the screenshot of it)
