Great place to get all the camera gear. Henry’s own team is good and well trained, unfortunately I did not have a good experience on my last purchase. I bought a Nikon Z5 on Black Friday (November 25th, 2022). I was told that I would receive the camera in a couple of weeks time, unfortunately until the 12th of January, 2023 I did not receive the camera and I had to cancel my order. In between I was talking to their Customer service team and Nikon Canada’s customer service team and I could not get any satisfactory answer from both. Eventually I cancelled my order. I was going to Dubai, I talked to the Nikon dealers in Dubai before leaving and they reserved one unit for me, by adding a few more dollars, I got an excellent deal from them including a 64 GB SD card, a camera bag and became a Nikon Premium Member.In future I will only buy the stuff from Henry’s or Nikon if I am sure they have the stock available.

It’s difficult to leave the house with a baby, so it’s frustrating to be denied service. I went back to their website to ensure I didn’t miss anything, but indeed there is no mention to an age requirement for baby passport photos online (my baby is 2 months old). If you’re looking for baby passport photos, I I suggest calling the location before going despite the online indication of no appointment necessary as I had to find out they wouldn’t help me after driving there. Maybe I’m to blame too, but I did read everything on the website…

For a shop specialized in photography, passport photo quality is incredibly poor: lighting is insufficient (even though the photographer takes the picture standing next to the showroom’s lighting equipment) and very poorly knowledgeable of technical requirements (had to redo shot because of that). The Trafalgar Walmart’s photographer is significantly better

If you don’t know about cameras they will *scam* you.The first question upon arrival to their store was “are you a photographer?”I replied the truth that I’m not and they did everything in their power to sell me a near-obsolete and extremely overpriced camera compared to the one I was asking for.FYI: They HIDE their best-valued cameras from display to prevent people from seeing and trying them out. Tommy, the scammer, will tell you it’s against “boss’s rules”, though the three other Henry’s stores I phoned have them set out.Lastly, Tommy also gives out his private number to every customer, so for some reason it’s better to get basic camera purchasing information that way than through the store phone.These people are absolutely shameless. Negative stars.For photographers who understand: They explained that I will have to deal with constant vignetting with Tamron 28-75mm (VXD) on a ZV E10, also that they “aren’t” familiar with the camera. Ultimately, tried to sell me the a 7c (saying it’s replica as a a7 3 but compact) though I specifically said I’m making videos and trying to save as a student to upgrade in the future.Called in to make sure I wasn’t making assumptions and Tommy verified that he has a lot of experience as a photographer and videographer. Then tried to tell me he was trying to drive me away from my choice because vignetting happens when it’s not a 4K camera.Couldn’t make it up in a book.

This Henry's location is simply the best! Incredibly friendly staff, all of whom are eager to take the time and assist with whatever you need. I'm new to photography, but one of the employees--Tommy--went above and beyond to make my visit to this store so memorable. He explained all of the features of the Sony I purchased and didn't rush me at all when I was making my final decision (which is not always the case in retail). I will absolutely be back for future purchases and am recommending Tommy to anyone I know looking buy cameras.

Henry's Camera is my go-to shop for camera gear and photo printing. The prices are reasonable, especially for high-quality prints. The staff is incredibly friendly and always ready to assist me. A great place for all photography needs!

This location is a shadow of itself when it was at Dorval. I don't know how they stay in business. Everything they sell is available online at other distributors at a better price.
