Great company to deal with.Any issues were dealt with in a very timely manner.Communication with Richard was outstanding. He always returned my calls and responded to any questions that I had.I would recommend this company.

Richard came to service our gas fireplace in a timely manner. He thoroughly cleaned our unit and replaced our direct vent screen which had rusted out over time. We were very happy with the service and price for a job well done.

DO NOT BOTHER WASTING YOUR MONEYHad my old fireplace removed and a new fireplace unit supplied and installed in a different location. A lot of their work was sloppy. They left the old vent open had to ask them to properly seal it. New venting was cut very high and altered mantle/fireplace wall design.They also were SUPPOSED to install a gas line for our stove. Tech was very lazy and tried to find quick work arounds by cutting holes to the outside of the house to run the line. Luckily our contractor stepped in and had him do it properly. However, they didn’t install the line to code - no shut off - and I had to bring in another person to finish the job properly. I tried several times to have them come in and fix it or refund me but was ghosted and ignored. Codes are in place for safety - I’d be super weary of this business!!!

Richard Jr. came to service our fireplace one night after normal business hours. After my husband told him what the issue was he got to work. We need to replace two small parts. When that was done he went to start it and it did not start. He took a valve (I think) out and it had a spider web in it. Once he cleaned it our the fireplace worked great. He was very honest about what was wrong and gave us the best option to fix the fireplace. I appreciate his honesty and that he did not just say it is old and should be replaced. If that had been the only option we would look at replacing it but it is not a good time given the economy. Also, the gentleman who answers the phone at the shop is always very friendly. We have used this company twice now for repairs and have had no issues.

Purchased a Gas insert to fit our wood burning fireplace. Richard and Kevin did a great job on the installation in November and also but in a gas line for a new gas stove and our BBQ. Lots of good work and all completed well in one day!Richard has been very helpful with tips and adjustments to the fireplace and we a very happy with it and enjoyed it all winter. Would recommend Fireplace Plus

Great service!I am a complete novice when it comes to fireplaces. Richard showed up when he said he would and was very patient as he answered all my questions and presented me with my options. I could not get my basement fireplace to ignite, He did some troubleshooting and got it up and running. I really liked the fact that Richard was straightforward and upfront with his guidelines on the type of fireplace needed in my living room and servicing cadence of the one in my basement: even when I was considering upgrading (which he would have benefited from financially) he was very honest in telling me what not to spend on.Definitely highly recommended.

I got in touch with Richard late Saturday to say I couldn’t get my fire to come on. We tried a few things. Nothing worked. We arranged that he would drop in the next time he was in Pickering. To my surprise he arrived Sunday afternoon and fixed the problem at no cost. Small matter but he couldn’t have figured it out if he had not visited by home. I was so appreciative to him for dealing with the problem so quickly.I would highly recommend Richard and thisCompany.

We had bought our second woodstove which was a Regency from Fireplace Plus, and now we are planning on purchasing another Regency very soon to replace the other/older one! Keep up the good work to the Staff at Fireplace Plus!

Richard and his team just installed a gas fireplace to replace our previous wood burning one. Their customer service, installation, and promptness waa 10/10 . Richard installs absolute customer satisfaction, in his installs. Thank you Richard for the beautiful fireplace and your outstanding work ethic. I highly recommend this company!
