Alectra Utilities - Operations Centre

Power went out in my neighbourhood for 8 hours on December 17th and for 3 hours on the 15th. I had to cancel my 40th birthday plans on the 17th because of the outageMy wife called and we weren't reimbursemed for the inconvenience!It is January 7th 2023 and the same issue. Power outage in the same grid! Power has been out since 4am and its 1:30 pm. Says time expected to fix is 3 hours... But that was 2 hours ago.What kind of Mickey Mouse operation you guys running?! Get your act together.

If I could give them a zero I would. Their customer service is the absolute worst experience. Their staff is rude and have no training I assume. My advice is if you give them a call, just make sure you have a lot of self control and keep expectations very low.

They did not inform us of a scheduled" power outage. My mom had a doctor's appointment this morning and we missed it. I also had surgery recently and needed a packing to be changed and because of the power outage I could not take a shower then get my packing changed. I got transferred to six different people and none of them had an answer as to why we were not informed of the outage. Simply put if I was aware i would of made sure my mom was showered and ready to go as well as my self. Not to mention no heat in winter and all the food in the fridge that can risk going bad. A supervisor was supposed to call me and i have as of yet did not receive a phone call. Bottom line if this was a scheduled outage INFORM YOUR CUSTOMERS. This is a total lack of professionalism

They don't know what to do I called them to set up an account for a house that I recently purchased, she's telling me to contact the old owner so he closes his account,other than that she can't help me,hire people who can do the job not people who can't even speak proper English.

This Alectra company even not deserves 1 star there time frame to reconnect power 8:00am to 12:00pm completely BS . And inconvenient to public who pay the bills to run this company.

Why is it so difficult for Alectra to post my annual electrical usage statement? I sign in to my Alectra account and it should be up front and centre. If it's there I cannot see it yet.Why is there no Contact Us" email address online link to ask questions?"

Perfectly sunny day and we have been without power for over 3 hours on a cold december day. This isn’t the first random power outage by this garbage company. No estimated time for the fix, they didn’t even know there was an issue until I called. All i see are alectra trucks driving around doing nothing. Why did Mississauga hydro outsource to this company? This is what happens when you privatize utilities to become more american. Poor service for absolutely no reason whatsoever.

Called to report a power outage. They said we had to have an electrician look at the issue first to make sure that the problem is not internal. All of the other business's on our street are also having a power outage. They refused to prepare a ticket to send out their staff until we hired a private electrician ourselves to look at it first. Terrible service!!! RUDE STAFF
