Great eye doctor. Friendly staff. Highly recommend him!

Extremely disappointed! Went in for my yearly visit like I have for many years and was handed a mask, I questioned why I had to wear one and was told I had to. I informed the receptionist that there was no reason for me to be wearing one and said that I would not be wearing that mask. I was then bluntly told that I would not be allowed service without one! I asked for them to show me the science to support their mandate which non was shown. I asked to speak to the doctor and was told then by the office management that I had to wear a mask or leave. I left ! Disappointed that after two plus years since the start of the pandemic some doctors and medical staff have learnt nothing about these paper masks..these masks do nothing to protect anyone against covid19, it’s even written on the side of the box that it’s not a medical mask nor does it prevent covid19, these paper masks are not N95 certified. Very disappointing that we put our medical needs and trust in people that don’t follow the medical science but do follow the political science ! Extremely disappointed!

Brought my dad in for an appointment and their Covid protocols are all outdated and extreme. I was told unless my father needs assistance with his appointment I must wait in my vehicle. Their Covid propaganda all over the office is date 2021 or earlier. So if you don’t want to be treated like you are a disease, avoid this place!

I've been seeing Dr Walker for the best part of my 16 years here in Abbotsford.Originally I was looking for help with dry eyes, but over the years several more serious problems arose: viscousdetachment, torn retina, infected tear ducts, cellulitis and difficult vision correction.Dr Walker has always taken the initiative to refer me to the appropriate professionals in a VERY timely manner. The staff is great about fitting me in when a possible emergency arises.Just as an example, Dr Walker found small retinal tears in my left eye. Even the laser surgeon was unable to see what Dr Walker had seen. I had to return to the surgeon twice to get the laser done completely and correctly.If you need someone you can trust to look after your ocular health, Dr Walker is a top choice and we are lucky to have him here in Abbotsford.If there was one negative I could find, it would be that the office is only open four days a week and most of my problems seem to arise on Thursdays, especially when it's a long weekend.

Went in for a look at a lingering stye, they confirmed what it was and offered to remove it. If I waited 20min so they could set up, they could do it todayI walked out with it drained.That was an unexpectedly quick turnaround. That's also what you call service!

My experience was short and if I did not need to return for a follow up, I wouldn't be. There was only one staff (younger woman, mid to late 20's) that had any sort of emotion and care to her. She was polite, warm and great to speak with. However, Dr. Walker and his assistant were not as great.The assistant had no bedside manner, and I felt rushed and not heard as I was trying to explain myself.Dr. Walker at first seemed warm and polite until he attempted to make small talk by immediately asking if I had received my COVID vaccine, to which I answered and was immediately belittled and told that my reasoning was invalid. After I stopped responding, he continued to berate me and my opinion.I felt this was unprofessional and uncalled for and left a very sour taste in my mouth.

Great person. Presented himself well and explained everything so I understood and left feeling like I was in good hands. Staff was also polite and helpful. One word Awesome!
