Just went there to ask for a background check, the not to nice officer who answered the door advised me they aren't doing background checks, which is fine I understand due to covid. Then begins to ask me questions and starts talking to me in a condescending very rude way, I ended up just walking away. Maybe post something outside so people don't have to encounter that. And maybe have your officers take a course on communication. There's obviously a big issue there!!!

Just drove by a church outside of St Jacobs. Numerous police cars parked there with the constables doing absolutely nothing productive. This is a complete waste of my hard earned tax dollars. They were parked on private property. I suggest there can be better ways to spend my money given to you. The police there told me it was the decision of the chief. Looks like a poor decision .

Car was broken into and the cops did absolutely nothing. Had to wait like 2 hrs just for them to arrive at the scene just for them to say nothing can be done, finger prints are irrelevant and that was the end of that, no other help offered. The only reason I didn't give a 1 star is because I have met some officers that were kind but other than that they need to do their job. Crime, especially theft is a huge issue here, especially in districts where students reside.

Earlier this week, my 3- year-old son had a seizure. He has brain damage and is at risk of seizures. We gave him appropriate anti-seizure meds and called 911. Soon after, 3 police cars full of officers showed up at our house. They harrassed me and my husband, they made remarks in the sense that we are somehow responsible for his seizure. Later, police officer accompanied me the whole time I was in the ER with my son, taking his clothes into a evidence bag. The other policemen stayed at our house and prevented my husband from entering the room, where our son had had the seizure. They left only after about 3 hours of this. I find this behaviour to completely unacceptable.

Valuables went missing & the police officer responded within an hour or so. With the help of security technology, the items were found & back in my possession the next day. The responding officer was very professional, thorough & courteous.

I have had more interactions with WRPS these past few years than I wish to recall. Severe mental health issues of a loved one. All were potentially dangerous and stressful beyond imagination. Some happened at home, some on the street; all traumatizing to us all. In every instance, the police who came to the call were polite and respectful. In most instances, actually, they went 'above and beyond' with kindness and support for our addicted loved one, and often spent hours with us. They tried like hell every time to de-escalate things and not use force. If you live this in this special kind of hell, as some of us have/do, you know that there are just times when police need to be there. And WRPS, even when they weren't 'warm and fuzzy' (and they were much of the time), were always professional and did what they could to avoid arresting a very sick person.

literally just sad. no help what so ever, they don’t care. I was robbed of thousands, they didn’t even show up for 2 days to get my statement, they never followed up, we have proof and know who did it and there where abouts, we also have proof of the stolen items being posted online yet they are doing nothing, it’s been about 3 months since the situation and they still aren’t doing anything.

I received a call from what I thought was an ADT representative asking why I was cancelling my service. I scheduled a meeting to discuss the situation with this person. A hunch told me to call ADT to make sure this person was legitimate. They had no record of this person or notes saying they were coming to my house and they told me to report it to the authorities. When I went into this department, the officer at the front desk told me it was just a scam. I told him I was not concerned about the scam but I was concerned about the safety of my family. Since this person had my address and was insistent on coming to my home when I was there. The officer told me that if someone shows up to my house, then I could call them and they would do something. Even though I had the individuals first name and phone number. I am writing this mainly so there is some record of me trying to get help and report it. Also if something happens to someone else by this individual, then at least people know that the police were made aware and did nothing.

Can't make a ZERO. Today while after work I was harassed outside of a LCBO in New Hamburg before I could enter the place of business. According to your new practice over policy you now seem to think you have the right to have your officers state it's mandatory" when they can not even quote the law you claim to enforce.Teach your "professionals" better on what exactly they are there to enforce. I feel bad that you get your recruits from Aylmer that only accepts above D average students with a superior complex and a predisposition to listen to orders without following up.FYI
