Limestone and Ivy

My husband and I really like Limestone and Ivy for both shoes and clothing. We have always had attentive, but not pushy or hovering, service. When we tell her what we are looking for, Patricia very quickly finds awesome items in the right size. I am delighted at how well she remembers our preferences - even pointing out the Canadian brands. We have found, without exception, the owner and staff to be helpful and friendly. Recently, upon hearing that we were buying clothing for a trip to Sweden, the owner gave us hints on tourist attractions and even wrote them down so we could look them up on line.

I was just in today to buy some Blundstones for my husband and myself. I also saw some other things I would have liked to purchase. However one of your sales staff found it extremely inconvenient when I asked if I could get passed her. Rather then let me by she threw her hands up in the air, acting very rude and annoyed by my presence. In light of the current state of society and the economy I would think that your store would appreciate out of town customers. Needless to say I went elsewhere for my purchases.

Just bought some Blundstones for my girlfriend for Christmas. I can not recommend this place enough. Phenomenal service and such an amazing store. Pleasent staff and very organized in the store. I will definitely be shopping here again. Thank you again Limestone and Ivy for exceptional service.

Its always clean professional place to shop. The quality and service are impeccable. Worth while shopping there you won't regret it.

I love this store. They carry tons of quality brand names, as well as a few others [Canadian content included] I hadn't heard of previously but am glad I did [i.e. Miik, cut•loose]. If you just want to browse they don't bother you, however if you need help they're there for you. They have great promotions; on my second visit I was informed of the fact that the racks of women's summer clothing I was interested in, running almost the entire length of the store were all half price. I returned several more times and thanks to the honest feedback I received from the staff [after trying on half the merchandise in the store and asking for their opinion] I've received many compliments on the outfits I purchased. One of the most versatile items I bought was a finely knit shrug; I was grief stricken when I managed to put a hole in [via the hook and eye on my dress] it the first time I wore it. On my next visit I told one of the Patricia's [I believe there are two, they're both totally awesome and I really hope I got the name correct] who work there; she told me exactly how to fix it [even wrote it down] and it's as good as new. I'm not exaggerating [this time] when I say this is one of, if not the best" place to shop for clothing [and shoes] in Brockville."

I came in back when this lady was up and first running again after COVID, she was absolutely ignorant when asking for assistance upon finding the correct shoe size! This is a tough one to come by because a lot of people sit here and side with her as she is a business owner (seeing many comments and likes). A lot of them are her personal friends as well as her two children this really goes to show how awful, greedy and inconsiderate one can be. She’s not locally looked upon and hasn’t been for a while now she seems to have many friends but she is a terrible business owner she doesn’t deserve to own a business, greed will INFACT destruct your sense or character.

I would love to be able to support this local business, but unfortunately, every time I walk in the store I am ignored, no hello, no smile or acknowledgement. This has happened on several occasions. When I walk next door to another business who also sells clothing, I am always greeted by the friendly owner who mentions their current promotions and asks if I can be helped. This is how you run a business. Sorry Limestone, maybe you could learn a thing or two from your neighbour.

Visited Limestone and Ivy for the second time this week. Once to exchange boots and the next for a new purse. I just wanted to leave a review because both times I visited the shop I was greeted with happy faces, over the top service and left smiling!!Job well done!!!

Bought some Orlan winter boots with crampons. Excellent! Real game changer for walking on icy sidewalks in winter. Thanks for wonderful customer service to find there perfect fitting boots. So comfortable and warm.

I went in looking for a pair of sandals, i found a pair that looked nice and had asked Patricia to help me find my size. She was very rude and hovered when i tried the on. She had no input but appeared to handle me as someone who may steal. I had asked what the return policy was, she was very snarky and said 7 days ( to which on the receipt said 10). I ended up needing to return them ( found a nicer) and Patricia was there again. I had talked to another worker ( older lady, grey hair) she took the shoe box and looked at the shoes. She kept on asking me if i had worn them, I did not and I never even took them out of the box, The tags and stickers were all still attached. Finally Patricia came by to do the return, i had to show her my empty bag ( the shoes were in there but the staff took them out) before she continued. She did not look at me and only asked me why i was retuning them. I thanked her after the return to which she rudely said Thank you AGAIN. I was so upset that i left. I will never shop here again and will never recommend this shop.
