Airdrie 8th Street Dental

I've always had an immense fear of going to the dentist to the point I hadn't gone in 20+ years. The entire team at 8th St Dental is fantastic. They made me feel comfortable and reduced my anxiety at each appointment. Both my Hygienist and Dr Rachel Ferraro did fantastic work over the course of 3 separate visits to get my oral health back in a good place and they are a pleasure to be around! The whole team is always super friendly and smiling!

Airdrie 8th Street dental is amazing. Dr. Mathur and all of his staff are so kind and welcoming. I would recommend this dental clinic, a great experience.

I am new to Alberta. I've visited this clinic twice. The first time I was in so much pain with a molar that needed to go and they took me in for emergency surgery a day later. This is a great clinic with really kind people working within it! I don't have benefits so I really appreciated that they kept the cost low. Koodos

I'm a new patient at Airdrie 8th Street Dental and decided to try them as they had great reviews. The reviews were right and I'm so glad I did!I'm a bit of a complicated patient due to some health issues and Dr Feraro was amazing with me and finding the best solution for my needs. She has a wonderful bedside manner and is very patient, always makeing sure she's answered all of your questions.Their frontline staff is also fantastic! They are so friendly and welcoming and always greet you with a smile. A special thanks goes out to Jenn for going that extra mile to make sure things were taken care of for me quickly to prepare for a specialist appointment.If you're looking for a new dentist, I HIGHLY recommend 8th Street Dental!

My daughter had to have her tooth pulled today. She was so scared . She was handled with calm, patience , gentleness and care. My daughter ended up laughing with the dentist adorable jokes. She felt secure and it changed her entire mind about it being scary . Thank you ♥️amazing staff as soon as you step your foot inside .It was another wonderful experience that I have come to know

My niece came to Canada from Ukraine and had to get some fillings done. She was very worried about going to see a new doctor. Dr. Rahul Mathur was extremely gentle and so kind that her stress has disappeared right on the very first appointment. She actually stated that it was one of the best dental experiences she has ever had! She was very comfortable going back to see Dr. Mathur as every single visit was STRESS FREE! Now since a he had some fillings done with Dr. Mathur - she is asking to ONLY be going back to the same clinic for the future cleaning/check ups.Dr. Mathur is very professional, extremely kind and delicate.Would absolutely recommend to everyone!Thank you Dr. Mathur and Airdrie 8th Street Dental!!!

Was never a fan of dentists since I was a child( really bad experience). But I highly recommend Dr. Mathur! He was patient with me and went as slow as I needed for my own comfort zone, kind and very compassionate. Walked me through everything step by step. Has great staff and walked out with a great experience! Again would highly recommended!

I haven’t left a review before but this place deserves it. By far the BEST dental experience I’ve ever had. Everyone was so nice and understanding. You can tell they care a lot about making you feel comfortable. Everyone was amazing thanks so much!

My family have been patients at this office for almost 2 years now. This is by far the most ethical and friendly dental office I’ve ever visited—and after living in Calgary and visiting several different dental offices there for almost 30 years, I feel quite confident saying that.The team at 8th Street are extremely accommodating of people without insurance, even going so far as to remove some charges for some routine procedures to make the whole visit more affordable. As a bonus, kids’ cleanings are very affordable and “happy visits” are free!The front end staff are always very friendly, pleasant, and communicative. Dr. Ferraro and all hygienists I’ve had have fantastic bedside manners, and they do a wonderful job with kids, always asking the children for consent and explaining what they’re doing before proceeding with a checkup/cleaning. They are also very respectful of boundaries, never pressuring the children (or adults, for that matter) to do anything they aren’t comfortable with.I continue to be impressed with the whole team at this location, and commend them for truly putting the health and finances of their patients first.

Honestly, this dentist is very friendly and kind, but apparently I’ve been paying for Fluoride treatments out of pocket and just noticed on my bill. I always just took the mouthwash at the end thinking it was part of the cleaning, but I’ve been paying over $30 for a one minute mouthwash.I went in to speak to them about how this should have been offered instead of assumed. They just said they’ll comment my file. No need. I won’t be coming back. Should have just refunded me.
