The staff and atmosphere were great. However, the prices were abit extravagant for the food you were given. For example a $35 ribeye that was too tough to cut and chew, was a telltale sign of the quality of food. Going here for drinks and appetizers would be a good idea. However, going here with a hearty appetite and hopes of a good meal at a fair price.. I suggest looking else where..

We had the most wonderful mid-day date at this quaint and tastefully decorated pub today. The staff were as lovely as they could be and were so kind and accommodating. And not to be understated, the food was high quality and flavoured just right. Fox and Hen is a new Calais fave of ours!
