My husband and I got our memberships here today. We visited various gyms and honestly, this was the absolute best! Felipe, at the front desk helped us with our membership. He was kind, friendly and helped us with all our questions. We’re excited and happy to be members of Fitness World and would recommend it to anybody. You get a very high value for price compared to other gyms.

I’ve been feeling pretty shy with wanting to go to the gym, but felt very welcomed here. Macy who was working at the front desk went above and beyond and really helped me feel welcome. The facility itself also super nice, with a great selection of equipment. Definitely recommend!

scheduled for 3-day trial gym tour on 3 pm with Mitch . Didn’t mention anything about BC iD beforehand. When I got there a frond desk, lady told me you can’t do trial without an bc id. Either have to join the membership or pay for the drop in. Customer service was horrible. Kiosk machine gives better service.Just checked the website, I couldn’t find the BC ID requirement stated on website

Amazing staff. Omid the best always greets you with a smile. Great gym very clean awesome equipment. Down side is not enough gym etiquette especially with the younger clients. Leaving wallets phones keys on equipment and walking away to chat with friends or workout somewhere else. Very frustrating. Need more staff to correct things like this. Otherwise love the gym!

This gym is so far the best gym I have ever been to. I always receive a welcoming smile and greeting from the desk staff and the manager together with my personal trainers. They have been and still very much working together to make me achieve my goals. I will recommend this gym to everyone who is interested in having a life changing experience.

Aida Issari is the one that I had the pleasure of working out with her for several months. I can confidently say that she is the best personal trainer I've ever had. The way she focuses on the form of the body and the flow of the exercises is excellent. She is motivated and loves her job. I recommend her as a personal trainer 100%.

Dear Fitness World,I am writing in response to your recent communication regarding my negative review and concerns about the services provided at your gym. Firstly, I would like to clarify that my Google name may differ from my legal name, but I assure you that I am the individual who left the initial review.When I joined Fitness World at your North Vancouver location, I explicitly informed your staff about my age and the lower back pain I was experiencing. Following their recommendation, I decided to train with a personal trainer and booked a month's worth of sessions. Unfortunately, instead of experiencing improvement, my back and left arm pain worsened. Upon consulting with my doctor, it was advised that I immediately cease my gym activities and begin physiotherapy. There is even a possibility that I may require surgery to address my condition.Considering the severity of my situation, I wanted to highlight the significant impact this has had on my life. I am a small business owner, and my physical disability and the subsequent six months of physiotherapy on my hand will undoubtedly affect my ability to run my business effectively. This prolonged absence from work and the financial burden it poses on me are additional concerns that have arisen as a result of the injury I sustained at Fitness World.Upon reviewing my contract, I discovered that there are no provisions for terminating the agreement due to medical reasons. This lack of flexibility is concerning, especially considering the worsening of my physical condition. Furthermore, I can't help but feel that the lack of knowledge and understanding of kinesiology and human anatomy among your staff may have contributed to my injury.Presently, I have been charged $1423.72 for personal training sessions that I am unable to attend due to my physical disability. Additionally, you are requesting an additional $350 from me. As a customer, I believe I have the right to appeal this charge and request a refund of the $1423.72 that I paid. It is disheartening that your initial response to my request was a threat to send the fee to collections. This approach not only appears to be an attempt to exploit the situation but also demonstrates a lack of consideration and respect towards your customers.I had hoped that as a corporation operating in Canada, Fitness World would prioritize customer satisfaction and act in a responsible manner. However, the handling of this situation thus far has left me disappointed. I firmly believe that there should be room for compassion and understanding when dealing with customers facing physical disabilities and unforeseen medical circumstances.I kindly request that you review my case once again, taking into account the significant impact this situation has had on my well-being, my ability to run my small business, and the six months of physiotherapy I must undergo for my hand. I urge you to reconsider the charges and promptly refund the $1300 for the personal training sessions that I am unable to utilize due to my physical limitations. It is my sincere hope that we can reach a fair and equitable resolution to this matter.I trust that you will address my concerns and provide a satisfactory response promptly. I am optimistic that Fitness World can rectify this situation in a manner that upholds the values of customer service, fairness, and empathy.Thank you for your attention to this matter.

This has been my home gym for years and I love it there. They are always adding and upgrading their equipment which is amazing. The staff are so friendly and it’s nice to see so many of the same faces every day. I have trained for two bodybuilding competitions at this gym and could never imagine going anywhere else. I even put in a request for earlier weekend hours and they listened. Thank you Andy and all the rest of the FW team! Your gym is my happy place.
