Prince George Conference and Civic Centre

Received my 2nd Covid Shot today at the Civic Center. Thank all the staff busy getting people organized and moving along very quickly.

Attended the City of Prince George volunteer appreciation dinner. Great time, excellent venue, hard working staff put on a seamless event. Thank You

This place is great for alot of events, and it has been doing well for the vaccination station. However when you exit the building, the city has replaced the paint job on the outside seating and put in plants, but the street people have already burned one of the stairs and it is a disgusting sight to see people shooting up and sitting around planning their next boost I cannot stand it. The city had the nerve to put a stand there that was open to the street people and it was a spot inside even if was brief for them to do their drugs like needles and smoking, I later found out that they were also providing them with clean and new tools to do their drugs, call me crazy but I feel they need to go with out their drugs and get clean not enable them because thag has not been working the only ones it benefits are the street people and us as a community has to pay for it and suffer it's not fair.

The events held here are well attended and we'll catered. It would be nice if there was more parking for the centre but there isn't alot of space in the down town area.

Came here for my first covid vaccine, was in and out in no time. Excellent location for a large event like this, security is covering the doors.The nurse that gave my shot was awesome, I told her I usually pass out from blood tests so I think she was worried I was afraid of getting a shot!She was great and so was Conference center.

I went to thunder down under and found one of the security guys(blue shirt) to be very rude while we were trying to find our seats. I work in customer service and would never approach/talk to someone the way he did to my sister in law and I. Great experience otherwise...too bad for one guy who obviously doesn't enjoy customer service and has to dampen our night.

Upon making the decision to get with the vaccinated. Excellent service and care from the amazing team at the civic center :) thank you for making our visit friendly and safe !!
