I hate to not give 5 stars because the store was really cute and I like what I purchased. I’m only giving four because the staff working there was incredibly unfriendly. They weren’t outright rude, just not the customer service I’d hope to receive anywhere.

Nettle's Tale
I went to this store for a swimsuit and left with a swimsuit! Such a victory these days. The designs were lovely and with very diverse cuts and fits. They have quite the size range from XS to plus sizes. Staff was really helpful and approachable. They only had high waisted bottoms for the two pieces while I was there but they said they are going to be adding lower rise ones to the mix soon as well. And they have a 1 year warranty. Thanks for a great experience!

I've followed Nettle's Tale online for a couple years and only recently visited the store in person for the first time. Made my first purchase - a tiered dress with POCKETS which I am totally in love with with! Quality material and stitching!NT is an excellent brand for ethically produced and size inclusive clothing. Staff are super lovely and attentive. The store itself is incredibly organized, fitting rooms are super spacious (one of the most spotless ones I've ever been in) with great mirrors and lighting.Looking forward to my next purchase!

So happy I finally got to visit the store in-person. The clothes are beautiful, well made, and super comfortable — I actually wore my new outfit out of the store! The staff were also lovely. I can't wait to visit again ❤️

Plus sizes! Every design in the store comes in the full range of sizes - pants, dresses, shirts, bathing suits. The salespeople are very helpful on sizing, and don't try to push stuff on you that doesn't fit right. Great experience, high quality clothes. Price range from about $50-$300 - so mid- to high-range depending on the item, but the clothes are top quality.

This clothing store is awesome - the staff leave a super positive feeling on you - they are sooo friendly and upbeat, helpful and inclusive. I was so inclined to follow them on instagram and shop online after popping in there briefly while walking around downtown in the summer. I love their social media presence and seeing size inclusivity online and in store. A prime example of how stores should be!!

Nettle's Tale
I visited Nettle’s Tale yesterday and had by far the best retail experience I’ve ever had. The staff member helping me was beyond kind and seemed so excited to help me find some amazing pieces. They found me pants, shirts, bodysuits, to make sure I covered all my bases and tried on everything so that I could know my sizing when shopping online since I live in Ontario. They even pulled up their size guides and made sure to help me find the right sizing instead of just leaving me to my own devices. I have never felt more welcomed and embraced as a plus size person than at Nettle’s Tale. I cannot say enough wonderful stuff about this place — go check it out!

I've purchased from Nettle's Tale in person multiple times at this point and have always had a great experience! The staff are great at helping and asking if you need anything, but without being pushy or overbearing. The store is super cute, and the clothes are wonderful! Being someone who is plus size, being able to go in to an actual store and try on clothes that not only fit but are cute is such a rare experience. I appreciate this store so much!

I’ve genuinely never been more embarrassed in my life than when I was in the store the other day. I walked in and didn’t get greeted. The person that came in after me got greeted. During my time in the store the associate interacted with everyone else but me. But she made sure to keep her eyes on me the whole time. I felt like I was doing something wrong by shopping. I ended up purchasing some things that I really didn’t want because I was anxious and felt like I had to prove I wasn’t being sketchy. Will never be returning here unless they give their customer service a revamp.Just a lesson - great customer service kills theft, and also elevates experience for people you might suspect but are genuinely customers.
