Hardwood Ski and Bike

Hardwood Ski and Bike is a great time for people of all ages. Friendly and helpful staff. Great food, lots of incredible trails.We rented all of the gear, bikes etc and had a private lesson as a family. Ben was great and taught us lots of new skills.Weekdays tend to be quieter which was nice and it felt like we had the place to ourselves.I highly recommend Hardwood and we will definitely be back!

I love hardwood for skiing. It has great trails, always fantastically groomed. I like that they update on conditions regularly. I recommend people come here all the time. My only concern is that since the landfill opened next door, the main corridor for skiing really smells. Certain areas stink, like awful garbage smells. It’s really too bad that was allowed next door to an outdoor sport centre.

The place is great!! Trails are meticulously labelled & very well maintained. The only thing to look out for is trails closures, which are not communicated or updated anywhere, which will mean you have to detour via another trail. I've only experienced that on GNARLY & had to detour via FUN (see photos). BEFORE RIDING: you'll get a sticker for your bike once you complete pandemic screening etc. AFTER RIDING: there are several bays to hang your bike (drivetrain or braking), pump & toolset area & one bay to wash it off. The onsite mechanic can help you out based on availability. There may be a small cost to that. Great experience.

Great place to bike, well-maintained trails

Hardwood Hills is a great place to take the family to nordic ski. They have a wide variety of trails from beginner to expert, great staff and service. The on-site store is equipped with anything your heart desires to keep you warm and fashionable in the winter, plus an outstanding selection of equipment for every price range. While I've never taken a lesson I watched the instructors interact with client and was impressed with their knowledge and teaching abilities.

Good place to get cross country ski. All good brands were in stock here with enough choice to satisfy different level of expertise and price point. The staff was friendly and helped to align on a good value option fast. Thanks!
