By far the absolute worst customer service of any flooring company that we contacted. They never want to share any information about their products including prices and will treat you like a pariah if you should have the gall to ask them. Oh and once you do get a price they will be at least 40% higher than any other quote you get. Don't waste your time.

B.C Hardwood is a family run business that prides itself on delivering high quality flooring products not available to almost all other companies.Their 109 year history makes them the oldest company in the city, and their experience speaks for itself.I have an amazing Hakwood floor from B.C.H, it is unlike anything I have ever seen.If you have discerning taste and want something a little more high quality than most can provide, with fantastic competitive pricing, this is the place for you....I highly recommend their products and services.

I would highly recommend BC Hardwood Floor for any of your hardwood flooring refinishing projects. Jordan Hernandez was my Project Manager and I was extremely happy with his attention to my project. He was personable, knowledgeable, professional, attended appointments on time, attentive to my concerns, provided detailed invoice breakdowns and quick to respond to voice messages and emails. I have an 18 year old red oak engineered hardwood floor and needed his help on deciding on whether to refinish or replace. He recommended that I proceed with keeping the orginal floor. He was correct based on cost, disruption, sustainablity(resuse flooring) and finished product. At the end of the project he came to check out David's work and review any comments or concerns I had and hand over a microfibre cleaning mop and cleaning solution.David was the installer and he was always on time, firendly, worked efficiently and neatly, did 2 sandings, added filler over the whole floor, added a stain and finished off with 2 coats of water based finish and installed the shoe moldings. The original flooring was made up of 3 strips of red oak in a 7 x 7' section. With the filler and proper sanding the whole floor looks monolithic with no evidence of joints. David did an excellent job and the flooring looks better than the original install!One of the reasons why I chose BC Hardwood is that they use their own staff for the install/refinishing rather than subcontracting out the work. You may pay a little more but you are assured you are having the work done by one of their employees who are required to maintain their standards."

This company seems to be far too busy to return phone calls or respond to email inquiries. We wanted to order a large amount of a product which they commonly carry - and they couldn't be bothered to even speak with us.Take your money elsewhere.

this review is long, but worth reading if you plan on investing many thousands of dollars into your flooring:BC Hardwood replaced all our hardwood floors in our 100 year old heritage house. on the main floor they removed the old floor, balanced the floor, and replace all subflooring. the new hardwood was old growth fir they had milled to the original edge-grain 2 3/4 boards. our house was immediately transformed. the result was stunning. one year year later the fir has warmed and we constantly get compliments on it.if you can move out for the process

It was a pleasure to do business with BC Hardwood. Their selection is phenomenal and the service offered by Jordan Hernandez went far beyond the usual customer-salesman relationship. I encountered quite a few delays in my new build and the timing of the delivery of the wood to the Okanagan, but he smoothed the way as best be could. I am utterly delighted with my Mercier hard element maple floor.

Jordan Hernandez and team did a brilliant job at advising me on the best hardwood for my condo, and was able to conveniently schedule the install before I had to move my furniture in. I would highly recommend choosing BC Hardwood for their professional and friendly service. The new walnut flooring looks excellent!

BC Hardwood just refinished a twenty five year old oak floor for us. It was an excellent experience all-round, with great pre- and post job communication and very high quality workmanship.

Great product and amazing installer. BC Hardwood was affected by shipping delays of the flooring, but I felt they did what they could to keep me in the loop and offered a refund if I wanted to switch to a different product. Highly recommeded.

This was our first experience in having our hardwood floor sanded, re stained a different colour and refinished. The finished product exceeded our expectations! Francisco, sales rep. was very knowledgeable and helped us through the decision making process, stain colours, problem solving etc.. His customer service is exceptional. The refinishers Dave, Chris & Angie were very skilled, detail oriented, and very respectful of our home. From this point forward our go to company for flooring needs will be B. C. Hardwood.
