Rubber Ducky Resort and Campground

This is our favorite campground to visit in the Winnipeg area. It's great they have 2 pools but the 2 hot tubs wins a lot of points in my books. I am definitely a hot tub guy. The campground is well kept and there are activities to see and do while you are there like the little farm. There's even a pizza oven you can book. We love walking the dogs around the grounds and seeing all the beautiful seasonal sites people have setup. Makes me envious and hope to get a seasonal site someday. The staff was friendly and if you don't feel like cooking there is a little quick service restaurant in the main building. We have brought our trailer and rented a little camping cabin here before. When we have the trailer, we don't use the facilities on site like the bathrooms and showers, but the time we stayed in the the cabin we did use them. Enjoyed hot showers and the bathroom wasn't too far from our site. The only negative thing I could think of is during the summer, it can be a little difficult to book a site as they are usually full up. So make sure you book in advance. I think that speaks for itself that people enjoy going here. It's also not far from Winnipeg either. 30-40 mins drive depending on where in the city you want to go.

Love this place, lots of activities to do with your kids or just even lounge in the pool or hot tubs with friends. The rec center has pretty decent food and it's a good spot to be for a weekend and some sun

This business definitely lacks customer service skills - whoever Sheri Crockatt is, is proof of that. I do not agree with their price adjustments" one bit and this business should definitely honor their prices sent out in reservation emails. They wont notify you of these "price adjustments" and just charge your card.. and when you call them out on it - they ghost you. I wonder how many customers have never noticed their "price adjustments" to their bills."

Nice a quite, love every bit of it. I need to find a site permanent so I can enjoy it more!!! Great staff and 2 pools 2 hot tubs.. I mean come one it's awesome!!

We are travelling from Vancouver island, to Dawson city Yukon, to Newfoundland..very disappointed….have never had to pay extra for towels, sheets, pillows or blankets. The kitchen table had crumbs all over it. The toilet paper is your basic gas station single ply. An advertised $99 room ended up being close to $200

Can't say enough about this place! We got in last minute had such a fun weekend of swimming and exploring on a year that has been so weird it felt normal ❤ Sheri and the team there are great ! Food is yummy and literally so much to do including mini golf number boats and this year they added a petting zoo ! Amazing! Can't wait to go back ! Also the little motel rooms are perfect if you don't have a trailer !

Great place to bring the kids. Kids loved the pool, Halloween in August and the donkey. Stayed in the rooms this time, only complaint is the beds are rock hard. Campers and seasonal residents were friendly and respectful.

Worth cabin we ever had. No Airconditioner. Too hot inside and fan is not working well. My 2 kids were crying and were naked whole night.1am we went out and search for a hotel nearby (winnipeg) but ots all fully booked. We went home in PLP from winnipeg and did not use our first night in cabin.then we came back to cabin 2nd day to pack up and did not finish our 2nd day. Never come back this place!

It rained for half an hour and the area(no.54) I was in became a sea of water. It wasn't until the next day that the color faded. If the manager said there was nothing he could do, there was no compensation for damages. I felt bad pretending not to know. The spirit of service is zero.

I loved everything about this place with 1 exception, after 9pm there is absolutely Noone on staff there, at all! CO detector went off in our motel room at 1230am and I had to spend an hour searching for a seasonal camper who knew how to get ahold of management. They called the owner and knocked on their door but still got no response. Had to call the fire dept myself. Me my wife and 3 young children were up until 3am before being let back in to our rooms by fire dept. No refund or discount was given to any of the 6 rooms whose stays were disrupted.
