I'm going to be honest, when I first walked in, I fully expected to be greeted with a curt nod and not much more. Even the best of vintage shops can kind of give the i''ll help but in reality I'm too busy for you" vibe. However

If you're a vintage drum head this is the place to go. I got a lesson on vintage Rogers drums. Great service and tons of fun gear!

Skip Long and Mcquade and Steves. If your looking for drum equipment go to Century Drum first. The owner and operator is the most helpful dude. It may not be a great place to look for a beginner kit, but if your looking for some interesting vintage pieces or some miscellaneous stuff for your studio/rehearsal space Century drum would be my first recommendation.I'm not a drummer but I needed to buy some pieces for a kit I have. I know nothing about drums and the Owner was incredibly helpful in helping me find some cheap cymbal stands and a snare stand and a sweet kick pedal. I think he even gave me a deal on everything at the end I dont think I paid over 120 for a great sturdy snare stand, a cymbal stand and a vintage slingerland kick pedal. It seemed it didnt matter how much money I was spending that day, he was just genuinely trying to get me my best value for money and really going out of his way to find me stuff that would work. I am actually excited to go back when I need some new stuff.

This store is a dream come true for drummers/percussionist who collect vintage drum equipment! The store owner, Greg Millson is a drummer who knows what his customers want and goes out and gets it! As soon as you walk in the front door you can see right away Greg loves vintage drums. There is vintage drums everywhere, and some real beauties!! I've been a customer there since 2014 and love dropping in on a Saturday afternoon to buy, sell, trade or just talk drums with Greg. As far as customer service is concerned Century Drum Shop gets a 5 star rating from me! Greg has gone the extra mile many times for me and my vintage drum collection has really blossomed with Greg's support! Keep up the great work Greg!
