We had our trailer parked here for 3 weeks and it was broken into TWICE (aka, two seperate nights within 3 weeks)!After planning a camping trip we arrived on a Thursday night to find our trailer broken into and 95% of our stuff stolen. We returned the following day to install industrial grade locks due to the thieves damaging the first locks we had.3 days later when we came back to move the trailer to a different stall (closer to cameras and lights) we found our trailer had been broken into AGAIN with the remaining 5% of our stuff removed.Due to the thieves being unable to remove the new locks, they pulled the door up like a soup can and slipped in to get the rest of our stuff (approx $100 worth of gear). The damage to the door was so bad we couldn't secure it closed. I had to damage it more and screw it closed. I've never felt so violated. Clearly there is no deterant for thieves to stop the break ins.These thieves have the time and the tools to take anything that you have. They have a system and are not afraid to get caught. We had locks - they broke them. We installed better locks and clearly the security is so bad that it wasn't a deterrent. There is no way I would ever feel comfortable recommending this place for storage. We literally couldn't sleep after leaving it here.By leaving it here for 3 weeks, we were left with two damaged doors, all of our camping gear completely wiped out and a trailer so damaged that we have to replace two doors just to use it again. Short story, choosing this place means we won't get to camp this year and all of the things we've made memories with are gone

Absolutely worst customer service, RUDE!!Called to check the prices for our customers( have a small moving business), Karen even refused to tell me the price for a storage locker!! We don't work with moving companies she replied.I made it clear that our customers will sigh the agreements with you, i am just asking the prices.Secondly, me as a private person on the phone, i think have a right to ask for a service or prices at least.Could not believe it - she just hanged up.I phoned second time and asked to speak with the manager and she refused, - What a rude and unprofessional behavior.On top of all that, during our conversation while refusing to transfer me to the manager she pressed dialing buttons on her phone every time i wanted to speak so it would make me muted!! Are you guys serious? By doing so you only showing childish behavior, either it is your company policy' or just your employee RUDE behavior.Thank you Karen

I rented a large storage locker at this facility over 15 years ago. I had been working out of the country for several months and when I returned to my locker, I had found that my lock had been cut off and replaced with another lock. I then got one of the employees to cut off the replacement lock and found that a number of my personal items had been stolen from the locker, including a metal box that contained many of my childhood mementos. also missing was my old stamp collection as well as my son's baseball card collection. I found that the main entrance gate was broken giving free access to any bum wanting to access the facility. When I asked at the office if there were any surveillance recordings, I was told that they would already have been taped over. This theft was reported to the police, but of course to no avail. This incident has given me a constant sense of loss and anger over the years and always wondered if this theft had been an inside job. This place should be closed down and demolished for redevelopment.

Our locker including 4 others were broken into and all 5 of us sustained damaging losses in regards to the blatant lack of security measures by Econo Storage.When I approached the business owners with concerns about camera footage I was told that half the cameras didn't even work and many blind spots didn't cover the grounds in a way that a theft would be recorded that the police could use.After my inquiry the facility abruptly torn down the fence surrounding theComplex and erected a 10ft fence with barb wire.A case of action only after a major theft has already occurred.In no way were any of us compensated for our loss and were told to read the fine print in our contractsSTAY AWAY FROM ECONO STORAGE IF YOU WANT TO KEEP YOUR PRECIOUS ITEMS SAFE.

We have stored our RV there for a couple of years. We have been robbed four times, the latest about June 24, 2020 when our catalytic converter was cut out. Our RV was parked right near the manager's building due to theft but of course nobody heard a thing. Finally got fed up and moved out.The service is poor and surly at best. Pick up and drop off is inconvenient as they are closed on stats. I moved out 4 days after my month end and they refused to provide a partial refund for the balance of the month following which they deducted from my credit card the day I asked for a prorated refund. The security is non-existent as we have had more than $3,000 of goods stolen out of our motorhome.Use this facility at your peril.

I see all of the terrible reviews here and I am going to add another one. I called to ask some questions about renting a unit for another person and I wanted to pay for it on my credit card, but was told they couldn't do that over the phone and I would have to come into the office to make arrangements. I said, ok, fair enough, I understand that. So, I went there the next day ( I live in Abbotsford) and when I got there, the lady at reception rudely and blatantly said that I couldn't rent a unit for someone else. She said, the unit had to be under that person's name and charged to that person's credit card. I asked her why I wasn't told that on the phone when I called and she said I don't know and didn't seem to care either. So, why wasn't I told this on the phone when I called instead of wasting my time driving all the way there to find that out. If that's their policy, then that's their policy. But, geez, where's the customer service and proper communication. I will definitely not recommend this place to anyone.

I read the reviews and thought most of the bad ones were from a few years back, I was wrong. I had requested a storage unit price in Langley for Feb 28th. The email response was quick so I went down the next day to book the unit and when I walked in I felt like I was interrupting the lady at the desk, so I stood back and waited. When I mention I was there for a unit she said they had none... I said they should just put that in the email so I didn't have to waste my time. You need to change your policy and explain you have no units available, if there is a wait list add that to your email reply as well.

Wow just reading the reviews makes me wonder what kind of world we live in . This place is obviously a terrible place to store any of your personal belongings . I’m leaving this review because I am very disappointed .
