After Mr.Rooter cancelled on us 3 times Dave Hurst Plumbing saved the day

Bad experience. Installed bathroom plumbing in wrong places and Gary the dispatcher told me to take a hike when I complained. Hurst never returned to fix it; calls to the owners went unanswered. Workers were very rough with old pipes when fixing them. I'll never use them again.Someone commented that the owner is back from his holidays" and "give him a call". I made multiple complaints to Hurst Plumbing

FANTASTIC — two times in a row.•• In both cases, they were there on time & worked efficiently while still offering time for questions and small side requests.In both cases, they suggested alternatives to what other companies had tried to sell us.First case: other company wanted to start with camera scope (at what we learned later was a hugely inflated price -$1000). Hurst added it for free just to prove that there was nothing to see, that they were right & show us why.Second case, they offered & installed a semi-temporary, inexpensive work around to a much more expensive repair.

I had been fleeced by another plumbing company due to an issue with my floor drains. Long story short, my basement flooded and I needed to repair a pipe below the foundation of my home. I needed a new plumbing company and I was referred to Dave Hurst Plumbing & Heating by a friend in the neighbourhood… if I could give more than 5 stars, I would. Sean, Jesse and Dustin helped to make the process of repair as seamless as possible. The all in cost came below their estimate and they were fast + efficient.They’ve checked all the boxes in my book and I will certainly recommend the company and their services to everyone.

What can I say, in a sea of mediocre contractors, Hurst is the real deal. They have a large enough crew that they can get to you quickly. Their rates are not the cheapest but you get what you pay for and Hurst will give you definite value. Not to mention they are more efficient that most other plumbers so in the end it costs the same. Great skills, great crew, and great office staff.

Stay away, far away - poor quality, poorer service, overall nightmare. They invoiced double and then when asked to clarify, the response was “ I will expected full payment, no discussion after the fact”.The job was not done and what was done failed city inspection. I had to get someone else to clean there mess.After refusing to discuss, I did send a more then fair cheque since work was done. Scott then threaten to sue if I don’t pay all these invoices he sent in 24 hours and would not address my questions.I see I am not the only one they over charged.Big mistake using them.UPDATE - They are suing for there invoices full amount and I got a legal letter saying they will press criminal charges again me if I report to BBB or share truthful reviews on my experience.

Dylan from Dave Hurst Plumbing was excellent. Professional. Knowledgeable. Answered all my questions patiently. Next time I need a plumber I will ask for Dylan specifically.

Similar to other 1 star reviews Dave Hurst Plumbing has received in the last 12 months, I unfortunately have never had such a poor experience with a plumber in my lifetime.We had a leaky shower last year and asked for Dave Hurst Plumbing to send a technician over to look at our shower. We asked their plumber to especially look at the drain as the drain is the most obvious culprit to a leaking shower. The plumber denied our request, stating concern over breaking the shower by conducting an examination of the drain.In his first visit, the plumber, whose name I will withhold for his privacy, from Dave Hurst Plumbing stated that he believed the leaking in the shower was possibly caused by a lack of sealants around the shower handle and other areas of the shower. He applied sealants, instructed us to let the shower dry via dehumidifier and to not use the shower the longer the better".Right after we started using the shower again
