Niagara-on-the-Lake Museum
Not interactive for children so if you go make sure your interested in reading and viewing only. My daughter 10 and her friend 11 actually had most fun with oversized magnifier used for reading signatures in an old book.

Niagara-on-the-Lake Museum
Located inside the Historic Old Town, Niagara on the Lake Museum offers the rich history of the whole Niagara region. Would recommend to visit it during the weekdays because sometimes you explore the place all by yourself. Admission is 5 dollars for adults.

Every item was displayed nicely and had signage that had descriptions and history of the pieces. I enjoyed seeing and learning about all of the different people that have come to the area.

Niagara-on-the-Lake Museum
I have visited Niagara-on-the-Lake many times, saw the sign for the museum, but drove right by. This time I decided to follow the sign and discovered this lovely museum located in an old house with beautiful gardens. Outside there is a rose Bush called 1812" as well as a terrace with historical cutouts.Inside there is a lovely small gift storeas well as historical exhibits of clothes

Niagara-on-the-Lake Museum
After moving to Niagara falls, we try to know as much as we can about this region. The Historic museum is the right place for this purpose. There is a lot of interesting artefacts, furniture, photos, portraits, clothing etc. Me and my husband enjoyed it very much.

This is the epitome of bang for your buck." Friendly staff and an exhibit that was far more extensive than I had expected. Come here if you want to learn some straightforward Canadian history. I definitely recommend students to check out the used-books section of their store if they still have it
