Had a fuel line leak on a Sunday, called and came in, they couldn't get to us because it was late but said they'd get to us first thing in the morning. Spent the night down the road, he got to it right in the morning and sent us on our way. Friendly, helpful people, explained everything going on to us and answered all our questions. Reasonable rates, didn't try to upsell us or put anything by us.

We're from Saskatchewan. The older guy looked at our vehicle and told us everything out home town guy did wrong and why our tire blew. Tried his hardest not to charge us for his services. Sweet man. Also a very homey shop.Also saved our other tire from blowing. He caught it before we even did

Never go to this guy! Called him and asked him what he was charging to change the rim and torque the tire. He was very rude and said you got to be (f-word) kidding me" and just hangs up on me. It's people like this grump who give others a bad name. I cant understand how some people try so hard NOT to get business. I guess he's good at something. I GIVE HIM 0 STARS."

Bought a boat in Thunder Bay on a Saturday, about 20 km east of Ignace I blew out the hub and bearing on the passenger side of the boat trailer.It was approximately 8 pm at night on Saturday.Had a room booked in Ignace so that was ok but the next day was a SundayNelson came around 9 am Sunday morning changed out my hub and bearing and had me back on the road by 11:30.There are many poor reviews here but I thought he was great, knowledgeable, and friendly.Really appreciated his help.I might question the people who gave poor reviews before I would question Nelson or his garage and service.Thanks a lot Nelson, you really pulled me out of the weeds

Coming back from Kenora, my friends and I stopped in Ignace to get a burger, but ended up accidentally locking our keys in the car. We asked Nelson for help. Well, he showed up, took one look at the situation and left with no explanation. We ended up going back to his shop and asking him for help again. He was very rude and laughed at our predicament. He told us he left the first time because too many people were around. Eventually, he came back and opened up the car. He charged us over 100 dollars. 1/10 would not recommend.

this place shouldn't be open. I am a traveler on my way home,stopped in ignace for the night got some extreme cold temperature needed a boost contacted this garage and was told he couldn t help me find someone else highly suggest not stopping in ignace over the winter potential break downs and such happen and you maybe stuck here in ignace .thank goodness for the wonderful people at the lone pine inn they have been more then gracious my time here

Had car problems and arrived into Ignace at around 11pm. The weather was bad and I was on a tight schedule to get home. Figured the problem was my alternator so I was just looking for conformation and a timeline for ordering a new part. Saw his sign and drove in and asked for help. He was just closing up shop but I was hoping he would take a quick look. He was unwilling to help and generally uncaring toward my situation, even to the point of rudeness. I found another auto shop close by and that owner was fantastic! He quickly saw my car that night and ordered the part first thing next morning. I would not recommend this shop.
