How can they sustain their business with such poor service. The employees here are so dismissive and could care less if you bought something or simply walk out. When I called there to book an appointment for grooming...I felt that I was an inconvenience and she rushed me so she can hang up! Are they the owners children working their or part time students? Do the owners know or are aware of their behaviours? Im not going to wait atound and find out, ill take my business across the street!!

Walked in 5 mins after they were supposed to be open and was asked to leave and come back in 5 mins while she got organized. Wouldn’t even let me stay and look for the things I needed while she got the til ready. I love to support local and have been coming here for 4 years. But ownership has recently changed and It looks like they don’t have the same level of customer service.

Way too expensive. Pet food industry is gouging big time. Especially this place

I was just here and picked up an 8 lb bag of cat food with a price ticket on it that read $41.99. The cashier scanned it in at $45.99. When I called her attention to the discrepancy she commented that the price has gone up and that $45.99 is the new price. I advised her that stores have to sell at the ticketed price, even if the price has gone up in their system. She remarked that aren’t all of our prices going up including at the grocery store, and so she would give me a discount. I thought to myself no, it is not a discount if you are honouring the price that you guys stuck on your bag but I didn’t say anything. Then she rang it in at $43.69 which is still a couple of dollars off! I discussed this with her again, and she handed me a loonie and said that should cover the taxes shouldn’t it. WOW. Well my cat needs food so I just grabbed the loonie and left. Her attitude was that she felt I was being a petty cheapskate. I won’t be returning. If you’re reading this review, double check what you are being charged.

Just recently got a dog and discovered this neighbourhood pet store... and what a gem! Great selection. Friendly service.

Staff could not be more welcoming and helpful. Was astonished to read the negative reviews ... never have I experienced anything but grace and kindness.To me, supporting local businesses is crucial, particularly during these Covid days.Lastly, they all know my puppy’s name ... cannot get better than that!!

Have had only but great experiences here, the lady that works there is always super friendly, welcoming and knowledgable! ....The best part though may have to be the front door greeter..... the cutest dog I may ever seen (can't remember her name) but she is the sweetest thing ever!!!Stay awesome guys :)
