These guys are great,our water heater and floor heater were not working correctly and there was a leak. One of Robs team came out and inspected the system and found the leak and it was going to be costly to repair. They explained that the unit that was installed was not the correct unit to provide hot water for both the floor and the house use. They said they could replace the old leaking unit but were concerned about how long it would last. Rob and I spoke about options and he clearly laid out what should be used and what should not. As an engineer myself I was impressed with his knowledge and solution for my water heater. I decide to go with a boiler style of water heater recommended by Rob. His team arrived on site and completed the entire job in one day. They were very efficient and cleaned everything up before that left. I would highly recommend Rob and his team at Variety Plumbing and Heating for the professional work they do

Just want to give a big shout out to Rob and his team. The Variety Team (on this occasion James) recently helped me out with an issue in my condo bathroom. UpdateMay 31, 2023I called Robbie in regards to installing a water filtration system. He stated they have had many calls but haven’t done any yet. So we both decided let’s find a solution for people in Regina for a no maintenance, inexpensive whole home water filtration system. Robbie emailed me and found a true winning product for Regina’s water issues. GAC is a granular activated carbon unit that just runs and does an incredible job at taking away many chemicals like chlorine.The price was great and we said yup let’s do it. Devin came and installed but not long after there was a small leak. It’s very rare but this is how you know just how great customer service is with Variety.Everything held for a few days until Devin returned (a truly nice person, well educated and pleasant to talk too) and replaced the head in 15 minutes and all is good.My wife and I are truly grateful in the end as this filtration should be in every house in Regina. If you consider a 25 year or greater life it works out to 15 cents a day for water that won’t burn your skin when you get out of a shower or corrode pipes, etc. It’s so important to have clean water. We recommend calling Robbie at Variety Plumbing and Heating, you won’t regret it.Thank you so much again until next time for another job truly well done.Kevin and KarenI called Variety Plumbing and Heating a couple of weeks ago and spoke to the owner about a Generac whole home backup power unit running using natural gas. He was a couple of blocks away and stopped in and gave an instant quote and we found a great spot to put it.Robert said it could take awhile to get Saskpower lined up as everyone is real busy.In the end he got everyone lined up and we got lucky getting a bigger unit than planned at no extra cost.The crew which was all Variety Electric did an amazing job, they were professional, courteous and very knowledgeable. Took them the entire day but everything went absolutely perfect. We couldn’t be happier having that peace of mind knowing these outages that have been frequent won’t be an issue. Especially in winter.I can’t say enough good things but definitely would recommend them to everyone as they left the place tidy and clean as well. It wasn’t easy either as it involved having to crawl under the deck twice.Many thanks to everyone involved.

One of Variety's vans (#17) literally ran my car into oncoming traffic this morning. When I called Variety to let them know their van was driving dangerously, the person on the line said he can't tell his staff how to drive and that he also drives the same way. I was shocked at that response.I asked to talk to someone that might take dangerous driving a little more seriously and he said he was the owner. Experiencing first-hand how Variety defines acceptable behaviour towards a person just going about their day, I can honestly say that I will never seek to be a customer of theirs. One simple interaction came across as extremely unprofessional.

This company takes pride in their business - that is so very evident. Professional...prompt... just an amazing company. I would HIGHLY recommend them. Anyone wanting to have a Generac generator installed should hire Variety!!!!

I had an issue with my bathtub and Variety was professional and friendly from the start, right from when I called to book and to when the job was done. I explained the issue I was having when I called and was given an explanation over the phone as to what could be the issue. The service guy that came was extremely nice, friendly and patient, considering I had a young son and a pet that wanted to see what he was doing. The rate was fantastic as well. Highly recommended.

I give Variety Plumbing & Heating 10 STARS ⭐. I had made a call 3 weeks ago because my pipes froze...(due to a very unprofessional job done by Mckenzie Plumbing & Heating. I tried to get ahold of someone there, completely impossible. Never again!) Variety said no problem

I used Variety a number of times, they set up a steam/shower and put the wrong size drain pipe....they used a 1 1/2 inch pipe instead of a 2 inch pipe which caused my shower to drain very slowly. Called Variety a number of times and for some reason was never rectified, was never inspected and no permits pulled...I texted Robby twice thru messanger with no response...I will not be using Variety Plumbing in the future.Here is Variety 's response to my review...Thanks for the review Mary.
