BCLIQUOR Nanaimo Terminal Pk

I like this liquor store! The staff are friendly and helpful and they always have what I'm looking for. They also have wine tastings on occasion. The parking is convenient and there are other stores I like in the same plaza (Terminal). My only complaint is that it can take a while to get service at the bottle return area.

You're not going to get much better on prices in BC unfortunately. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Decent selection of wines and even a nice vintages section. A quick trip here, cobs and nesvogs & you're all set for good take home eats & drinks.

Considering this is a government ran liquor store, the selection should be at least a little better than privately owned ones. Plus, the prices are ridiculous considering again, this is a GOVERNMENT OWNED STORE!! I'd rather go to a privately owned store just to support the community. Go away greedy government!! The staff were nice.

Made a quick stop at Nesvog's and then walked over to the BC liquor store. I picked up a very dependable (doesn't disappoint) bottle of Bodacious Malbec (red) table wine with a price point of $10.99 before taxes and I also chose a bottle of White Bodacious Pinot Grigio with a sale price of $9.99 before taxes. There is a nice light and airy feeling at this particular store, staff always friendly and they make a point of asking if they can help you or do I have any questions? Kind of gives me that small town-feel like you know everyone feeling". Good variety of spirits

Poor service when asked for specific brands

Was told by the young man who was attending the door that I had to wait outside to do an empties return. Waited 5 minutes while other customers came and went. I was not advised as to why I had to wait, was then told to come in,(by the same young man) got 5 feet in the door and had the clerk at the till tell me that I had to wait outside for empties. At this point I stood still and politely advised her that I had already waited outside and that the young man, beside me, had told me to come in. I then had a manager? Walk up and join in the conversation. I asked, in a very civil tone may I ask as to why I was made to wait outside?" I was very abruptly told by the female manager?! That "we only let one person in at a time for empty returns." A small discussion ensued and I then stated that I only asked a simple question and didn't appreciate the manner or tone in which the answer was relayed. She was quite loud and abrupt in answering me and I felt like all eyes were on me. I then
